I am so happy we can go inside now. I had an emergency and needed to carry my baby in after an attack. Not only did the entire staff take great care of her but they also took care of me, I was a crying mess. Her staples come out this week and the patient and her mommy are doing much better. Dr. Sundar doesnt try to talk you into expensive tests and procedures. He's very kind and knowledgeable. You can see they really care!
UPDATED 7/10/23 REVIEW: How Riverdale Park Animal Hospital went from an initial 1-star rating to a 4-star rating. I had already paid the $65.00 booking and decided to take my Kitten there instead of losing the fee. I am so glad I did! I was met with knowledgeable, considerate, and kind people working. The appointment fee is bothersome still. However, I will be coming back for additional appointments. I changed my review from 1 Star to 4 Stars for the above reasons. I could not give a 5 Star because of the booking policy. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEIR NON-REFUNDABLE $65.00 BOOKING FEE. They told me, however, I at least thought within an hour of booking I deserved the right to receive a refund FOR CANCELLATION. Not! This might be a good place for Animal CARE. However, I will never find out because this policy left a poor taste I can not overcome. I also must be transparent. They did say before booking this fee. I was desperate to get an appointment soon. The receptionist's ladies were professional. I have no issues with the staff. My issue is the policy, not the people, which receives my 1 STAR!
My dog has been coming to Riverdale since he was a puppy. I love this place. My dog always has some unexpected issues and they are always ready to squeeze him in. I’m a very annoying dog mom so I send emails and pictures of anything, they respond /call very quickly. We love Daniel she is always so kind and helpful! I definitely recommend.
We highly recommend Riverdale Park Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a new vet. The team at Riverdale Park Animal Hospital provided our dog, Ruby, with amazing care the past 5-6 years. I appreciate that Dr. Sundar always takes the time to explain things, including his recommendations, and answer questions. He and all of the vet techs always displayed a great deal of kindness and empathy to both us and Ruby. They are also very clear with their billing and provide estimates so there aren't any surprises. They're an awesome local business and all-around great group of people. We're really lucky to have them in the community.
Just came in for the first time with my cat and had a great experience. They were able to find a cancellation so that I could come in the next day for an urgent appointment and I was so grateful!! They were kind and understanding over the phone and then every staff member inside was just as sweet. Thank you Riverdale Park Animal Hospital!!
The service is excellent, plus you get to play with cute big cat while waiting.
Dr. Sundar truly saved my dog’s life. My dogs original vet didn’t look for the cause of the illnesses she was having, but Dr. Sundar figured it out quickly and came up with a treatment plan that extended my dog’s life by several years. There is no vet I trust more!
Great place! Employees truly love furry family members as if they were theirs.
