The James Castle House is a must see and a testament to Boise’s commitment to the arts. Impeccably curated and docent led tours are informative and educational. You’ll be glad you took the time to learn about one of Boise’s world renowned artists.

Spectacular museum. The host was friendly and so informative. It made the visit extra special. The special exhibit was amazing. What a gem! A must see museum in Boise.

I have visited the house several times and each time is memorable, delightful and fresh. All of the merchandise is impeccably selected. All of the staff is genuine and enthusiastic. My daughter has taken an art class here and enjoyed it very much. I bring all of my friends from out of town. Visit. Over and over. It's always a new experience.

This house of American artist James Castle is such an amazing gem for Boise! With its ongoing art and artifact exhibitions, a boutique gift shop, and artists living on site, it’s such a unique way to learn about Castle and his artwork. Don’t miss the historic shed where Castle lives and worked for many years!

A must visit while in Boise.  Amazing display of this artist's work and life since he was not able to hear and underdtand many facits of everyday life one experiences during a lifetime.  A definite Must See.

A fun little museum.  We spent about 45 minutes there. It is basically a 2 room museum in the artist's former home. Very clean and well lit. Street parking and 2 parking spaces on site.

The James Castle house is an historic aesthetic Boise gem. It speaks volumes to Boise's dedication, appreciation, promotion and commitment to the arts for the enrichment of our community.

This place is cool.  I'm glad it's nearby.  I need to visit more.

Beautiful rebuilt structure for art exhibits, glad they preserved the shed to show how James Castle really lived.

Such a neat place! Wonderful job reconstructing the house into a gallery with very unique art.
