Clarkston Community Health Center is a non-profit clinic that aims to provide excellent healthcare to those in and around Dekalb county that are underinsured and uninsured. We provide primary care, dental care, women's health, and mental health.

Description

CCHC was cofounded in May of 2013 by Saeed Raees and Dr. Gulshan Harjee. They founded the clinic after witnessing first-hand the undeniable prevalence of underinsured and uninsured residents in the Clarkston area. With this in mind, they set out to create a non-profit clinic that would make quality healthcare available to those that would normally not be able to afford it.
Since inception, CCHC has expanded from providing solely primary medical care. In addition to primary care, dental care, women's healthcare, and mental healthcare are all available at the Clarkston Community Health Center. Our expansion has been made possible by the overwhelming number of volunteers that help us continue to grow along with our strong partnerships with Emory University, Mercer University, Agnes Scott College, Clayton State University, and the University of North Georgia.

Good luck with calling there phones, they never answer, u would have to go to the offices just to make an appointment because they not answering that phone for nothing smh and that’s a shame

This is a completely volunteer-run facility! And they are hustling, helping whomever they can with the resources they have available. Hours are limited. Be prepared to exercise patience and be grateful for such an amazing staff of volunteers dedicating their time on week days and weekends to help with your medical and dental needs.

Worst place ever was my first time and the last. I received a message to make a dentist appointment and they scheduled it at 11:00 I came at 10:20 early because of filling papers and etc. I did all the papers and was waiting for my turn, i was waiting until 2:00 pm and there’s no patient except me and other guy. Then I asked the nurse are you going to check me because it’s time to close the clinic, They told me all the dentist appointment was canceled because they have mechanical issues. Seriously after more than 4 hours of waiting and wasting my time they don’t even bother themselves to announce it. Really it’s just bunch of students who working without care about your time or even you get the service or not.  Unsatisfied and unprofessional place.

I have been attending CCHC for about 3-4 yrs now and I have never had any type of issues with no one... Dr. Harjee/Gina and staff have all been amazing and always concern about my health... Even with all of the many of patients that they see they periodically sends me texts messages asking how am I doing... In my opinion CCHC is deeply needed because they serve everyone without being judgemental and they really do care... I Love CCHC for all that they do...

after receiving services from one of their partners “ sister love “ I was told about their health clinic services at The Harriet Tubman clinic.  Workers stated that it is open from 4 to 6 every Sunday and I was told no appointment was to be made and walk-ins were welcome i even called and the automated speaker confirmed also.  Sunday I decided to make my way to the clinic which  is over 40 minutes away from my home .  Upon arriving I was told there was only one doctor available in that they were not taking any walkins only appointments as they were booked for the next few weeks. Not only am I disappointed that I had to drive over 40 minutes away wasting my gas and time I am disappointed that the workers and information online gave me false information.

Typical Georgia stuff, Very poor service, won't answer the phone period. Very rude texting follows, after it's too late to come, if you leave a message on their voicemail .

Free medical and dental clinic open to anyone and everyone who doesn't have health insurance. It is located right in the heart of Clarkston GA, a city that has one of largest populations of refugees in the country.  These caring volunteer doctors nurses and medical students are there to help in anyway they can. It is currently open every Sunday but as they are able to get more resources and donation they are planning on opening up more days.  Check it out!

They are closed due to COVID-19 and unless you call you won’t know cause if the web info! Call before you go. The site info gets a 1 Star!

They do good work, but one of their nurses, Gina Papa, is quite rude.

Oh my gosh. I hate this place. It is too slow. I was here waiting for 3 hours and the checkup was only 3 minutes. Do not go there. You will waste your precious 5 hours.
