Whether you are looking for a nice place to walk your pet, take a jog, play a pick up ball game or just wanting to explore a new part of town, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is your spot for information and fun! Clarksville Parks and Recreation offers 22 parks, three community centers and the brand new Clarksville Greenway for recreational opportunities. The department also maintains facilities for most recreational sports league play in the city and manages the five community pools.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department also offers a wide variety of programs for all ages. We have many classes to choose from, so if you are looking to get in shape or just learn something new we’ve got you covered.
As everyone knows, an important part of recreation is having fun! The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department strives to continue timeless traditions as well as introducing new and exciting events to keep the good times rolling in the City of Clarksville. Don’t miss our annual Independence Day Celebration, two-day Riverfest Celebration and award-winning Christmas on the Cumberland light display in addition to our many other events throughout the year!
