Very small splash pad with one sun canopy with grass area. There is also a small park near by that could use a canopy over it as the equipment was too hot to play on. We brought our own chairs and were glad we did. Only half of the fixtures were spraying water when we went on 6/21.
Our family absolutely loves the splash pad and covered area in the grass. However, the bathrooms are almost always dirty & despite many parental complaints the turf at the playground still hasn't been addressed. This turf is far too hot for little feet. My kids know to wear their shoes, but every year we see little ones get burns on their feet. Maybe some type of canopy could be considered. As a whole we really enjoy this park and splash pad! Playground: The turf on the playground is a safety concern. Many parents do not realize how incredibly hot it is and when their child runs from splashing to playing it results in burns. Please consider adding a canopy.
Splash Pad is very fun. The kids love it. It could use a lot more shade and seating for the crowds it draws. And the playground is aimed more at ages 8+ because of the height of most of the equipment. Playground also could use shade as it is BURNING hot to the touch all summer.
Really nice splash pad I feel it’s more entertaining than the one located at Heritage but the seating is very awkward as there was no shade but there’s a large canopy with grass/dirt you can sit under and the playground isn’t meant for small children maybe bigger kids 6 and up
This splash park has so much for the kids to enjoy on a hot day! It's free and even the little toddlers loved it. There is a nearby playground but it was better for school aged kiddos
Great park, kids loved the splash pad and playground. I love that there's grass and not just concrete. Good place for a hot sunny afternoon as there a covered grassy area to sit as well.
Great place for little ones to play in the heat. Definitely needs more shaded seats for parents.
Just about half of the sprinklers were on when we went. The flooring at the sprinklers is super slippery and I watched several small children slip and fall. The bathrooms smelled really bad. The benches available are not in the shade and the "shaded area" is just a small patch of grass in front of the bathrooms.
Perfect break for my 1.5yr old on a hot day after a long car ride! All the families there were kind and pleasant! I couldn't figure out how to turn the water on though for about 30 min, & honestly idk if it just came on or what. But I touched the poll on the pad with the red top, and the water came on ‍ I couldn't find online how to turn the water on though, which was frustrating.
The splash park was awesome & fun. Would of gave 5 stars if there would of been seating under the shade & if the park would of been shaded. Even the fake grass is so hot to the feet & the play equipment is to hot to play or slide on. God Bless
