I was terrified and disrespected while trying to resolve a valid issue with my transit 30 day pass inside the transit station. I felt like my issue didn’t matter to the receptionist and if I was disgusting to her and she did not have the time to deal with me. A security guard was motioned and quickly intervened aggressively he gave me the rules without looking into my issue and I felt threatened so I walked off the property with out my issue being resolved and I had to walk home. I only got 23 days out of a 30 day bus pass. 50 year old Disabled mother of 6 Heartbroken
Been riding the buses for a while now, the only complaints I really have is the buses not being available on Sundays. The other being the very small amount of drivers that have a slight attitude but most are super nice, I only met one or two that a slight negative attitude. Other than those two, the bus system is good, not perfect but is close from my personal experiences.
It’s so hot on #6 and I ask the driver to turn on the air and he said it don’t work! Why would you send a bus out that’s not safe? This bus company is by far the worst when it comes to customer consideration! And they jerk you around while driving! Evidently knowing how to use brakes on a bus takes a special class that they are not offering! I’m going to start recording the routes I’m on! Evidently they also don’t check their camera recordings!
Infairness with the bus drivers most of them are so nice. But Spending 2- 3 hours waiting for the bus. Plus nothing to sit atleast or a shade while summer or winter specially with older people who cannot drive anymore or don't have means of transportation. Wish and pray that they could atleast put a bench while waiting. Hope that the mayor can see this so they do something for their people specially the needy once. God bless CTS
Absolutely recommend!!! These drivers are so nice! They look after the people on the bus like family, I feel safe and know I will get to the grocery or appointments on time. I appreciate them so much, they really take pride in the work they do.
We are homeless and trying to get our kids to school we were told children Ride for free and so the old firehouse day shelter gave us 2 day passes for me and my fiance to get our kids to school so we tried the bus driver said we had to pay for them or show their school ID.bI explain to them that my kids are just starting school and don't have school ID the bus driver says then pay or get off. We don't have any money to pay for them so we got off.
Public transportation is just that public. I love the bus system. They have never let me down from missing the school bus to my car being in the shop.
Highly inconsistent with times. It’s like they decided to go out whenever they want to and are usually behind schedule. Would suggest Uber or Lyft and have this as a last ditch effort.
The drivers are split it feels like 50 50 one driver let me ride all the way to where I asked to go as we arrived she said the bus and 1 and also the bus doesnt give lll I'm paying to ride in l bus and driver says ll to hurry I don't have time for to put your money in the bus and next time have your money straightened out and be ready or get left. I thought I was a customer. And for the ones like him there are the amazing ones who go out of their way to help and take time to find out if your ok need help give cold water
I'm a resident of Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee. I'm also a senior citizen , 66 years, a recent stroke victim and rider of CTS. I've been fortunate to have travelled and resided in ten states and twenty cities. In my experienced opinion, CTS is the the best public transport in the nation.
