Great experience! They have many antique and historical items that have been untouched for over a century! The building itself is a time capsule and has its' own story. There's an upstairs and downstairs so many artifacts to enjoy. I'm a college student and really enjoyed the experience! It is made for all ages. The building is sort of spooky, heard strange noises in the basement and no one was there...
Nice museum. May want to add info about people as the Archives/Library Museum is ONLY OPEN ON WEDNESDAY. And the LDS Jail Museum is closed due to COVID. Could have the names of Liberty Cofederates who went with Doniphan. Looking for James Rowland Sites.
Hours show 10am to 4pm on Saturday. I was here at 10:30 and it was not open.Visited onWeekend
This is a great museum located on the historic Liberty Square. Historic farms tools in the basement and a historic doctor's office on second floor should not be missed on your visit.
Incredible, well put together museum that offers a unique and impactful view of a time long ago. Very kind and helpful staff.
A must go to visit place. If you like history you'll love this Museum teach you a lot about Missouri.
Nice Museum also check out the Clay County Archives just down the street.
3 floors of Clay County history. 1780s forward! Great collections.
Enjoy local historical places. Very interesting and volunteers were helpful.
This is a neat little museum of historic items. It's free too!
