I met the owner and she was very cool. I'm definitely coming back.  This is an old school shoe store. They measure your feet and everything. I really wish I had come here instead of getting my shoes from Amazon.  The store has very rich history. It's been here for 122 years. Check out some of the cool pictures. I highly recommend.

Wow!  What a great shoe store and friendly staff.  Florence is always great to deal with and she is training some young men the art of customer service and sales whether there or somewhere else.  If you want customer service and something that the big box stores no longer offer the Clayton’s is the place.  Plan a few extra minutes because the personal attention is worth every minute!!!

I haven't been able to wear sneakers in over a year due to some issues with my feet. I was visiting with my sister and she mentioned trying Clayton's and letting them measure my feet and see if there was something they could find to help.  We went in on a Wednesday late morning and while they were busy, the owner herself took time to listen to my issues, measure my feet and went to find what she thought would work best pulling several styles and options.  I went with a pair of New Balance that I am absolutely in love with. I wear them every day am not having near the pain in my feet I was having on a daily basis.  I am now a Clayton's believer and that is where my shoes will be purchased from now on even after my surgery to have my feet fixed. Clayton's is only an hour and half from where I live and I love going to hang out with my sister. Thank you for helping me "get back on my feet"

Best shoe store in Tullahoma. I bought my work boots in the Tullahoma store. This is my second time buying the same boots. They go above and beyond.

Clayton's is a local icon!  We've been buying from Ms. Florence for over 10 years now and we never leave unsatisfied.  With five kids ranging from 2 to 11 years, plus mom and dad, we go through shoes like we're wearing sandpaper socks.  Give them a try and you will not be disappointed!

We went to claytons as we have always had good customer service here in the past but this time was not the case.  We ordered shoes as we needed permanent ones but bought a pair of temporary ones to get us by until the other ones arrived but the order was never put in the system for the permanent pair  When reaching back out for a status claytons said they would address it on thursday of thefollowing  week as the dealer was there at moment.  When calling the owner the week after that which was now the third week waiting then apologized to say she forgot and that the order was not put in and she did not call back to follow up.  She then said she may not be able to get them but I told her I had now located them on Amazon myself and why would that be the case?  She said that is the way the world works online but I differ as I loved their previous ability for them to handle this in the store but sadly this was not the case this time.  Received the amazon order in 2 days.  Although i am greatly appreciated measurements and temporary shoes to get us through this was not good cs.  Went down hill

We had the best experience at Clayton's today. It was our first time at the store and we were immediately greeted by the owner. We were extremely impressed with the selection and service. I walked out with a very nice pair of new Wolverine boots. There is a reason this store has been around for 120 years. Highly recommended!

My family and I bought shoes here for our trip to Hawaii. We walked so much and we were so thankful for our comfy sandals!! Worth every penny.

Florence and the staff at Clayton's are great. From the moment you walk in they treat you like family. They provide quality service so that you leave with exactly what you need. Best hometown shop to buy your footwear.

Clayton's  Shoe Store is the best.  Forget shopping for shoes anywhere but here.  Old fashion customer service,  Florence and her crew really care about your purchase.  Now go and find that in any box store or on line.  NOT!!!!  Please everyone remember to support our local home grown businesses, they support U by giving back to our community.
