This is our #1 place for chili burgers and chili fries! We drive from San Fernando valley to San Gabriel Valley whenever we need our fix. Recommend the chili fries as a must! Our go to is chili burgers but this time I tried the Cesar chicken wrap. It was very tasty! My son had the Turkey and avocado wrap and it looked very yummy. PS. They have small crunchy ice for their soft drinks. I’m always happy to find it!
Good food, but I've stopped going. It's just WAY too loud in there to even have a conversation. I don't know why they feel the need to turn the music up so loud. We used to have our group get-togethers there all the time, but all 8 of us agreed that its just too annoying in there now. Sorry, I've been a customer for 40+ years.Food: 5/5
Can’t miss this place as has a giant ship on the front. You walk up to the counter to order your food and they give you a number to take to the table. Mostly high tables with some low tables. It’s loud inside. I ordered the fried chicken dinner, the chicken was moist and crunchy and came with wedged potatoes, garlic toast and salad. It’s a fun place to eat, drink and watch the game. They bring your food on a push cart and came out pretty quickly. The prices were reasonable, my meal was $16.95 plus soda with unlimited refills and had small crunchy ice. Overall a fun experience!
The Boat has been a family favorite spot for me since the 90's. I have always had the burgers and my parents love the fried and grilled chicken dinner with red cabbage and the cheesy garlic bread. The Boat is a great place to hang and watch sports with many big screens and a small arcade for the kids and the model boats on display give it a great ambiance.
Been coming here way before they rebuilt and moved the restaurant. Wife always gets the tamale plate with salad. They always give u plenty salad but there is never enough dressing. So we always ask for more dressing on the side. Well today we were charged for the extra dressing. U can barely eat 1/4 of the salad with the dressing they give you. So to be charged for extra dressing just so u can finish your salad seems crazy. I guess it’s the world we live in that customers get charged for every little thing. They must have been short workers today too. Tables were not bused like they normally do and it wasn’t even busy.
If u like loud places then you’ll Like it here.Shrimp is the best! The fries are really good too! Onion rings are airy just they way I like them. Price is well worth it. Service is good.Food: 4/5
Have been coming to The Boat since I was a child, when it was still attached to the boat you see sitting out front — it’s a family fave. Food is just fine, but their beers on tap are pretty extensive. It’s a fun place to watch a Dodger game — huge screens throughout. Always a fan of The Boat.Food: 4/5
My family absolutely loves this place! A local favorite, it can be a bit loud and the service takes a minute. The food is fantastic though, and I highly recommend the half red cabbage and half blue cheese salad. I CRAVE this salad sometimes and the bread is addictive. My husband loves the steak avocado wrap and the Philly cheesesteak is amazing. And lots of TVs if you are looking for sports games. Parking: Plenty of parking is in the back, but you have to enter through a driveway that is a little north of the establishment. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or ramps, it is all level from the back parking and there are plenty of lower tables, but many have long benches for seating.
Great vibe here, and Kid Friendly is a big plus. It's loud without being annoyingly loud. Kinda of on the sports bar vibe, with a nice bar. Plenty on the menu to choose from, and nice portion sizes. Friendly staff, but mostly self-serve as well. Highly recommend you try this place at least once, and then you'll be addicted!
Been coming here since 1990’s, and the famous half chicken dinner becomes fried chicken dinner. They cut in several pieces instead of one half chicken, so that less juicy and less tender. The super salty bread still is my favorite.
