Best park area around. It has everything: slides, swings, carousel, picnic tables, track around the playground, and all kinds of other fun things for kiddos. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the place seemed in bad shape and needed to be fixed up/maintained. The paint on the ground was fading on letter and numbers markings, a few attractions had yellow tape around them. Big difference since the last time we went there 3-4 years ago.
My son was soo excited to come here. There are various playgrounds within this park. So much color. Great for pictures. There is a maze which my son & new friends enjoyed running inside. So much fun! Sadly some of the cars and other structure were tapped off and seem to be out of service. Makes me wonder how long they have been like this and when they will get fixed? There is also a carousel but was closed the day we went weekday. I saw a walking trail though we didn’t go on it. Restroom were clean. We had snacks on the picnic tables which were shaded. I saw people walking their dogs. Overall we liked this park. Restrooms: There are 3 stalls in the women restroom. A changing table for diaper changing. They were clean the day we went. toilet paper was available. Hand soap was available. And one of the sinks had a foot step to help the little ones reach the sink Dog-friendliness: I saw people walking here dogs around the park. There are trails to walk too. Picnic area: I saw many picnic tables under the shade.
Loved this park! So much to do for all ages! I brought my 7, 5, 3 and 1 year old and everyone had a blast. I loved that there was shade everywhere, tons of benches and picnic areas. I loved that they had accessible bathrooms and water fountains. They even had an ice cream food truck. Everything you need. You could literally spend 2 to 4 hours here easy if you brought your snacks! Tons of parking. Bringing all of the kids by myself.. it was a piece of cake. So many recommendations to come here and I'm so glad I listened! Met some wonderful people too and all my kids played with other kids and had a blast! Enjoy!!! Playground: Playground areas for all ages. From swings, monkey bars, area to race, carousel, maze, just a ton to develop motor skills - so great! Restrooms: Changing rooms and easy accessible bathrooms! Picnic area: Tons of picnic areas especially with shade! So nice!
One of the BEST, most inclusive parks in Northern VA. My kiddos have come since they were barely walking. Always a fun time. The added carousel and train ride make it all the better! My kids love this place.
What a wonderful facility! Very accessible for ALL KIDS... really all kids!! My kids loved it and had a wonderful experience. What a great space for children with sensory or developmental disabilities. There is a picnic area and accessible restrooms.
Great park for younger kids, and so much room that even when it’s crowded there’s no shortage of activities. If your kid loves vehicles, music, animals, or play structures…they’ll go nuts for this park. Playground: Great set of playgrounds for kids 2-9 Restrooms: Restrooms and changing tables available
The park for ALL! This is a very busy park but had something for everyone. The restrooms have metal toilets that are a little scary for littles. I only saw one water fountain. Quite a few picnic tables in the shade are available. Walking track, racetrack, swings, slides, obstacle course….like everything is there!
It's generally a really good park but there were more play spots with caution tape on it than usual. Also, you do need to keep your head on a swivel here with kids that like to dart off. There are plenty of blind spots and it's pretty open. Overall, it's a good park with lots to keep kids occupied.
Wide open area. Lots of interactive structures. Most of the park is covered with spongey material which is awesome for the kids. The carousel was open which was a big highlight and there’re party areas available as well. Definitely worth checking out and we’ll def be back as well.
Better park for smaller kids. Carousel requires online sign-up and only runs for 5 mins every half hour. Playground: No climbing apparatus. Mostly for kids under 7
