This place is convenient but the young Indian dude with beard is rude and always hurrying you to shop so I understand everyone's complaints. Remember they don't care about you they just care about you buying there poison while they make a profit! You lost my business as of 9/25. Namaste
I waited online and the cashier asked me to go to the next person. I went to the next person who is balding, has a belly with glasses on. I said to him that the first sam adams non alcoholic beer I purchased was flat and that I am giving them another chance and if it was flat again, should I bring it back right away or what will happen? He said all sales were final and not our fault. Not being appreciative that I am giving them another try, but that it is not their fault. Meanwhile other places I purchased this was fine. Did Sam adams change the formula within a week? They need to work on their people skills. Thank goodness there are other stores besides this one. Beware of your purchases! If it is bad, you are to blame!
Great selection and prices. However, the tall, thin-haired cashier always cards me despite my certainty that he knows who I am. It gives off the impression that he is waiting for me to not present my ID so that he can deny my purchase lol. He is also very unfriendly. Great store nonetheless.
First time here. Workers are nice. I asked an employee if they carried a particular item I was searching for, he kindly pointed at the next aisle over. Took a star off because I wish he would’ve walked me to the item instead of me having to look for it myself in those long and full aisles
One of the best liquor stores I have been too. Tons of great selections, competitive pricing and really clean inside.
Solid craft beer, even have less common major Brewery beers Spatan Oktoberfest, Labatt Blue Good bourbon selection, better than most. Only issue is that the shopping center is busy and the front door is located next to the center main entrance due to construction of a nearby bridge
This place lies about time. I called twice this week; February 20th and February 23. I clearly ask "What time do you close?" On the fact I walk there, and new to the area. An individual male told me 9:30. When I get there both times, at around 9:05 they were closed. On the 23rd yesterday I get there and was told we are closed. Before I walked out, very upset. I said Someone told me on the phone you closed at 9:30. They said , oh no sorry. Really made me mad. I can't stand lairs.
Nice selection, good prices but the personality of the guy behind the counter keeps me away and I only go in if I don't have a choice. I literally will go anywhere else. The girl is great but she's not always there. Shame because it's convenient and like I said the stock & prices a good but it goes to show that even a great store needs friendly people at the register.
As a Bourbon and Whiskey Enthusiast, Clifton Spirits and Wine have a nice selection. Problem is... Unless you are familiar with a particular bottle's MSRP, you can easily be taken advantage of. Their pricing is all over the map, with some bottles much higher than MSRP for no reason. In contrast, their wines seem to be priced more accurately / in-line. If you are going to make a purchase from Clifton Commons Spirits and Wine I would suggest to bring your phone to check competitive prices prior to purchasing
Great little liquor store. Easy parking directly across from the liquor store/ jewelers/ staples, stay away from the stop and shop area. Nice selections at reasonable prices. Good place to run in for a quick liquor pick up.
