They are always so friendly. It is an older diner with friendly charm. Everyone is nice. They are definitely busy but they work hard to get everyone seated as soon as possible. The food is amazing and the service is great. Walking through the doors is like going back in time a little when people actually cared who walked through the door and if they were going to have a good day. Every time I have ever been here I've received amazing service. Every meal I've had has been awesome. The pancakes are ridiculously good too
I just wanted to leave a post and give a shout out to everyone at this awesome restaurant… I am a traveler who is from out of town, trying to make it to see my grandmother and I had such a hard day and my car broke down and I was just a mess and I just want to give a special things to Levi because she came and talked with me and was there for me and I just really appreciated her kindness….. I was an absolute mess and I know I wasn’t the easiest type of customer to deal with today and I was going through a lot…. This place was amazing and the food was so good. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through Gainesville.!!!
HAPPY PLACE to dine! The staff is personable and upbeat. Every meal has been GREAT. The BACON is ALWAYS PERFECT. It's been a joy to eat there every time! Food: 5/5
The soup was random canned vegetables tossed together. They gave me half a steak. And a large piece of connective tissue. The hash browns were good. The corn was not. The roll was from a package. I felt like I was eating in county jail. Paid alot for it though. And the manager was quite rude when I let her know I came from the Greyhound bus station... I think they're on the way out.
UPDATE: went to our favorite place. They were busy. Everyone is personable and great service. FRESH flowers! On every table. So grandbaby loves this place. We have been twice since my review a month ago. She finished her pancakes before I finished my meal. She loves taking pics of the clocks. Food of course was delicious. From June 2, 2021 -Haven't been in a while. Not disappointed. I loved the home fries, big chunks of fresh potatoes- not frozen. Everything was great. The Baabaa gave it 2 thumbs-up and said we would come back. Jennifer gave us good customer service. The seating hostess was phenomenal. Good job Clock and thanks. Wear your MASK.
We stopped in for lunch. Fun family restaurant. The decor was retro but that added to the ambiance. Counter seating available. The staff was friendly, responsive and our meal was fantastic. We like to try local favorites when we travel and we’re glad we found this one. If you’re hungry in Gainesville, give them a try.Food: 5/5
Waffle was doughy, not crispy as requested & not warm enough to melt butter. Eggs & bacon were not really hot either. Partners was okay, as he prefers his food cooled due to dental sensitivity, so I gave back a star or two for his part.Food: 3/5
Love this place! Had an early lunch here, cheese sticks and the turkey club was delicious! Great presentation with the turkey club and fries! Parking: Good parking lot size near the restaurant.
We have been for both breakfast and lunch. Food is great. Atmosphere is fun. Staff is attentive and pleasant. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu available. Good portions for them as well Parking: Lots of parking available Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to use sidewalk and into the building.
Had breakfast and it was really good. Awesome service, all around great people there. Kid-friendliness: Nice open area with boothsbig areas for kids Parking: Big parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp and booths and tables for who ever needs it.
