12/28/2018 - The store is immaculate, even the parking lot is clean. All items are in place not to mention color coded. The store is easy and enjoyable to navigate. All items were of great quality and fashion. There were clothes and shoes for every size and price point. They do sell maternity clothes. Service was 5 out if 5 stars. Dylan observed my style and suggested a few items which I LOVED. I felt as if I was a celebrity getting styled. Very comfortable vibe in the store. The store is located near restaurants and everything you really need. I found my new clothing store addiction. I bought a scarf that I used as a head wrap, a Coach bag and pumps. I am going to go back to purchase jewelry for a New year's party
I am so glad I found this place. I've been to other resale shops with a very small selection of XL sizes and clothes that were worn and/or faded. I have plenty to choose from at this store in my size. The prices are great and everything is very gently worn. I've spoken with the owner both times I've been in there and she is very nice and helpful. The rest of the staff as well. I've told all the ladies I work with and since the store is not far from work, several will be going to check it out at lunch this week.
This place has potential! Clean and well organized. Prices are reasonable but just lacking community participation! Update! I took about 25 dresses for eval/sale. They took about 20 of them and gave me $60 cash and offered $80 in store credit. I was pleased as it saved me time and energy to sell them on Ebay and beats giving them away. Thanks. Cool place. Well kept store!
My fiancé and I run an online shop where we sell designer & vintage clothing and wares. We went by before and had Dillon who was super rad and bought items from us. The second time we go in with multiple bags and a incredibly rude woman was there and she looked disgusted saying she only bought items within 2 years and that "old vintage" was not purchased by them. Funny since I was told otherwise by another employee, plus all their clothing for sale is like 8 year old Ann Taylor dingy blouses. We drop it off during lunch and were told to come by and pick it up on the way out from work. We got by at 4:30 meanwhile they close at 6 and the door was locked with a sign that they closed early. Excuse me? You have all of our stuff in your store and you can't call to notify that you're closing? We run a business and you're withholding items with no communication whatsoever. I'm incredibly disappointed and feel like this was a huge joke. If you get the older woman, turn around because she has 0 professional skills and clearly doesn't care about making sure you're taken care of. I will be calling in the morning and giving them a piece of my mind and picking up my items and making sure they didn't steal them or who knows what else. Incredibly disappointed. **Update, called to find out the info about our bags and got the runaround. She claimed there was a robbery and that's why they closed, yet the sign said for Halloween? She was INCREDIBLY rude on the phone saying how she bought nothing and how it's our fault for not getting the bags earlier then HUNG UP. How this woman owns a business or even has any customers I will never know. Stay away from this place unless you want to be treated like a piece of trash.
I have purchased a couple of delightful evening outfits at Clothes Mentor and especially like Dillon, who either co-owner with his mother or he works for her. I'm not clear which it is. He is helpful and knowledgable and seems to genuinely enjoy helping people look their best. I bought a light jacket to wear over my New Year's Eve frock as an afterthought without trying it on just as I was about to check out. It was only $8. Not a big deal. But when I tried it with the dress, it didn't look right so I didn't wear it and didn't remove the tag. I brought it back two days ago and forgot the receipt. Dillon told me he could exchange it but he had to have the receipt. I offered to just give it to him to resell but he encouraged me to bring it back with the receipt. So, I found the receipt and went back today. Dillon wasn't there but his mother was. She refused to take back the wrap. I explained that Dillon said I could exchange it and she replied that she told him not to do that. I asked if she had told him that in the past two days. No reply. So, I said, I think you should honor what I was told, this once. She replied, "Dillon is not here to verify it." I was too shocked to say anything else at that point. Her reply was tantamount to accusing me of lying. What awful customer service! I doubt I'll ever step foot in that store again, but if I see her there, I'll certainly run, not walk, the other way.
I love to shop here! They have a great selection, and the store was very clean and well organized. I went there today to shop for a special occasion outfit, and Dylan, the owner, was very friendly and helped me find just what I needed. Shopping here is always a good experience, not to mention easy on the wallet. :
Donated my clothes without notice 7 days after I dropped them off. No warning at all. Manager won’t accept any clothes unless they are freshly pressed. This manager went through my clothes with me for about 10 mins and then donated all of them because they weren’t freshly pressed.
Dont get me wrong staff was extremely nice but the clothes and shoes were a disappointment. They were over priced for the condition that they were in. I would find a beautiful blouse but there would be stains or holes. I would come here every month to find goodies, but haven't had much luck lately.
The worst experience of my life. If I could give 0 stars I would. Took in clothes, shoes, scrubs and hand bags, to sell. Not only did I not receive an call or text, when I called back to see if they would take the items, first they told me they allegedly texted a different number, then they said they had already given the clothes back, they they told me they would have to pass so agreed to let them keep and donate. Went back there a couple of weeks later, they were selling my stuff!!!!!!!!! Contacted HQ twice, never heard back. DO NOT SELL TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY .ARE THEIVES.
Excellent selection. Employees were super helpful and allowed me to see fall boots before they had them on the showroom floor. I would definitely recommend. They also have a great plus size selection as well.
