Club 24 Concept Gyms - Wallingford

I usually don’t leave negative reviews but I thought my experience might be a warning to others considering this gym. Beware of the “free training session” they offer when you sign up. They essentially force you to sign up for the training after your free session but the contract does not let you out without a 60 day notice. Do not sign up for training unless you want last minute schedule changes, double booked trainers, and last minute cancellations nearly every week. Literally 5 minutes before the scheduled session I received texts from the trainer cancelling The managers do nothing for this constant inconvenience but apologize. My trainer cancelled my last session on me and didn’t reschedule, yet I received no refund for this. He also rarely sent me workouts to do when I would text him for them which was supposed to be included with the training sessions. What waste of money and the frustration of the trainer messing up the schedule is not worth it. Nice guy but couldn’t keep his schedule straight to save his life. On a positive note, they are making some updates to this gym and the facility over all is nice. They have many options for equipment and a women’s only room which I frequently worked out in and enjoyed. The classes they offer are also nice, I enjoyed the yoga and zumba classes.

Before moving away, I've been working out at this gym from 2019-2022. The equipment is great, dumbbells go upto 75lb, two squat racks, two bench presses and one incline bench no decline. A couple of dip spots, and one weighted rowing bench. The theater room is nice. Staff are friendly. The only downside is that the clientele leans towards the younger side. So you know what that means, bros hanging out on one bench forever. You can get a good workout done, but you may have to orbit the bros as you navigate the room.

Hello please read before you sign a contract with this gym. I joined this gym when I was local to them. Very nice gym and employees are great. My problem is I am no longer local to this gym,. My debit card was canceled when people's changed to m t and I was issued a new card. Few days later I receive a call from the club because I owe $4 I send them a text stating I'd like to cancel because I'm no longer local to them. They responded that I have to go to the gym to cancel or pay for certified mail. So now I have to drive an hour one way to cancel a $4 membership. So don't for one minute think this gym cares about you when they will harass you for $4

Always somehow end up owning this gym money... I went and paid my back balance in order to rejoin sometime last year and I have had this reinstated ACTIVE membership since than.... YET I got a letter from collections TODAY saying I owe 80 plus dollars before I can join again..Called gym with no answer... Make it make sense... UPDATE*** Management reached out, reviewed my file and apogized for the inconvenience. They also stated they contacted the collections agency and removed the delinquent charge...

The gym is trying to remodel and revape its image. However, today was the 3rd time I had to skip my narrow workout window because the gym opened 15+ minutes late I left at 5:15 to get to work. The posted opening time, and no notice otherwise on these days is 5:00. Love the small local vibe of this gym, just need them to get their morning staff in order.

Great gym, I have been going there since 2016 and they just began renovations to add more things, did not think that they place can get any better but it is! Great staff, the manager Mike especially is very friendly and helpful with your needs, if you are looking for a great and affordable gym, Club 24 Wallingford is the place to be!

The first gym I've ever joined... such a welcoming and nurturing experience. They have everything from private classes to yoga... but most importantly the people working here amazing and very nice. You can go to anyone with questions here... even the members... everyone is really approachable. Nice gym, nice environment, nicer people.

Very nice gym with brand new equipment. It's was just remodeled. It is a very friendly and upbeat environment led by the great staff. On top of everything else it is very affordable. I highly recommend.

Do not give them your payment info. They will not cancel your membership if you request it and will continue to charge you. I am not the only person this has happened to. It looks like they pay for fake positive reviews. I've also heard that they keep children in chains in the backrooms, though I haven't seen this for myself.

You get alot for the cost of the membership! Nice staff, clean facility and awesome classes including Yoga and Zumba!
