Coastal Flats Tysons Corner

It was my second visit to the Coastal Flat and I wasn’t disappointed. The visit was many years ago and wasn’t memorable. The bread basket was hot donuts which I always enjoyed at the Great American Restaurants chains. We started off with baby crab slider. While it was good, in my taste it was too heavily seasoned. I order Pecan crusted trout based on reviews here and I wasn’t disappointed. Shrimp with grit was very good except we found it a bit heavy.

Fantastic place for dinner! The atmosphere is welcoming, decor visually stimulating & service excellent! Their regular house salad is super healthy & tastes much better than the usual house salads at other restaurants. The tile & wall colors in the ladies' bathroom is such a unique color of blue & green hues! Very visually appealing!

Great atmosphere and great staff!! The food was phenomenal!! A nice cold beer to cleanse the palate! Choose the seafood or just the turf! Everything is great! The staff is very professional and have been highly trained to take great care of you! I highly recommend this place!! The food, the staff and the atmosphere are fantastic!!

Great and relatively healthy food at a surprisingly affordable price! If you’re already in the mall for shopping and want some place good to sit down and relax, Coastal Flats is definitely recommended. Amazing Food! Great atmosphere, even in the the busy mall, and excellent service! Our waiter Noel, was superb from beginning to end! We had the crab appetizer, drunken ribeye, bread rolls, Caesar salad, mash potatoes, and white sangria. Every bite and sip were delicious and memorable. I live pretty far from Tysons, but whenever I do visit, I’ll be making a stop here for dinner.

Was served old Ozzie roles. I complained, then they took the roles and dipped them in hot oil and brought them back to me. I am a regular so I know their roles and how they should be. I complained again and asked not to be charged for them. The waiter brought me a fresh ones, real rolls. Furthermore, I got the drunken ribeye medium well. They brought me a steak with some parts being rare. Further my drink, Long Island, is smaller than what they normally serve. This location have a problem. Fairfax location is much better.

Everything was wonderful, food and our server Delvon was wonderful. The 4 stars are because they couldn't seat our party in better seats. Everyone enjoyed their meals and my steak was cooked correctly! The pineapple mojito was nice! The calamari was perfectly fried and lightly breaded, I would have rather had the sauce on the side to keep it crispy but it was still good. Another good thing was the butter and the Ozzie rolls were great too. The shrimp was good so was the remoulade sauce.

I’ve come here a few times and I almost always get the baked crab cake and it’s always excellent. Definitely the most crab-heavy crab cake I’ve ever ordered at a restaurant. Very basic nice seafood place with a wide variety of food and drinks with a great staff. The restaurant is in a mall which is either a good or a bad thing based on your own opinions. Got the mojito and sangria with the fresh catch of the day and a roasted chicken very good!Food: 4/5

Offers good sea food of various kinds. Food was well cooked and very tasty.Ordered Cheese burger with bacon with Bud light beer.The atmosphere was friendly and lively at the same time.
