As a patient of Coats Dental Group, I couldn't be more confident in the care and competence of the Dentists and their staff. Additionally, Dr. Kevin spent a significant amount of his time reviewing the options, and explaining the proposed treatment plan. Dr. Kevin is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I have put off getting my teeth cleaned for nearly 10 years due to bad experiences and anxiety. The whole staff at Coats made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. They did a great job explaining what I needed and talking me through every step. When the cleaning was too uncomfortable for my seriously inflamed gums, they provided sedation and numbing so I could focus on relaxing. Dr. Kevin also reshaped my huge canine teeth that have been a source of self consciousness for years. Instant change! Could not recommend this practice or it’s employees enough.
Dr. Kevin Coats and the rest of the team did amazing work fixing my cavity! I normally hate going to the dentist, but I felt extremely comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Kevin did a great job making sure I was relaxed, explaining the process, and checking in along the way. He is super personable and knowledgable! Not only that, but the entire office was very nice, informative, and inviting. I am happy to have found a permanent primary dental care in Longmont!
We have been going to the Coats Dental Family for dental services for over 45 years. Three generations have been taking care of us and we would not have gone to anyone else. The people here were nice but I was mislead and it ended up being a waste of my time. Made an appointment for an implant consult and was informed once I showed up - not the two times I talked with them previously that unless I was ready for them to clean my teeth today there really wasn’t a free consultation. What a crock! Why would I allow someone other than my dentist to clean my teeth? Weird.
I'm 76 and have been to many dentists. Dr. Coats is the best - knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and caring.

Every time I see Dr. Kevin Coats and Dr. Brian Coats I am treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. They truly know what they are doing and go above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and pain free. The hygiene staff are excellent as well and make getting my teeth cleaned a very positive experience. Nothing quite like that fresh from the dentist clean!
I am new to Longmont, transplanted from Northern Virginia about 15 months ago. I’m also a cancer patient with significant issues. The Coats Group personnel treated me with dignity and respect even though I get around very slowly, and I had not seen a dentist in over 3 years. The X-Ray tech was kind and efficient. The cleaning and examination were thorough and performed by Dr. Coats himself. He was very personable and explained procedures at my level. Bottom line…I could not have asked for a better experience especially as a newcomer and someone who has been absent from dentistry for 3+ years. Because of cancer, I have seen literally hundreds of doctors, nurses, and techs. The Coats Group people are truly outstanding among them all.
