I went to see Maverick and unfortunately it wasn't playing on the 2 big screens they have. We had to settle for a medium sized screen. Nice clean theater. The sound and picture were great in the medium theater. Of course, beverage and popcorn prices are really out there but, hey, they have to make money. Nice to go to a real theater.
Dirty, smells moldy, and like urine! The staff was not friendly and definitely seemed unhappy to be there! The pictures are decent compared to what it's like in person. Won't be back! Don't recommend!
Worst first experience in my 50 years. Outrageous prices for everything. Film lost picture few in to it. Audio only. Then came the announcement for a refund if you are not enjoying the movie. First 15 min of movie was great. IMAX computer technology sucked. Complete waste of time and money. I won't be back.
Very disappointed in one particular staff member Rose Johnson who is somehow a manager as she was very rude to me and family at the ticket window. I couldn’t think what is supposed to be such a simple encounter could turn out so vicious. I ended up purchasing tickets bc we drove 30 minutes to see the film but this crew member must be disliked by staff most definitely. She almost seemed to be aggravated by the fact we came to see a movie. She should definitely by any circumstances not be a manger as she is an awful role model and a sour person.
I went to see the movie with Tom Hanks Otto. The movie was supposed to show in 12. Something happened to the film it broke. Long story short we wasn't able to see the movie in that auditorium. We were updated often and they were completely honest that they did not have an ETA. The negatives were the exit lights were not illuminated the seniors had to use their flashlights on their cell phones. I felt as though the theater should have stepped up and compensated us the $5 in addition to see the movie later. The manager Kyle Miller was outstanding in answering my. I will go back to the theater.
We went this afternoon to see a matinee that was showing at 12:30 in theater 7. We were the only ones in that showing. When the air starting circulating I smelled an old dusty odor and about 15 minutes after that I developed a headache. I'm not prone to head aches and also never get one. It did subside after the air seemed to stop circulating. I'm not positive that this theater caused it but I not sure it didn't either.
It's an older theatre and could use renovations. It's a good place to go for a movie though. Snack bar prices are silly though. They have a 8 dollar drink. Lol.
Went to see the terrifier 2 on the last showing yesterday @ 7:55 pm and everything went fine until we went to leave and the doors were locked but there was no one around to tell us that was being done. Luckily we were able to find a lock we could flip to let ourselves out with but it was just weird nobody told us that was happening. Im not sure if everyone just left without checking if all the showings were done or they just assumed we would figure out but it was super weird… please have someone directing people out during your later showings. Imagine watching that creepy movie and finding out you were locked in - really weird!
This place is old and uncomfortable. Why go here when you have so many other options including your couch. It’s not worth half the price. Seats don’t recline and are uncomfortable. Sticky floors. Urine smell. 1980 decor. Makes seniors feel young again perhaps. To the rest of us it feels like it’s dilapidated.
Definitely not a the largest or fanciest theatre but it still makes itself one of the best. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in service and quality. I love how the staff tried their best to make all feel welcome. After years of going here I can safely say that this is one of my favorite theatres.
