Their carrot cake was so amazing. Everything I wanted and wasn’t too sweet at all. It was a crowd favorite. The customer service by the young lady in the front was amazing. She was so nice and helpful.
So beautiful place to shopping cakes and everything for special occasions. Rosca de Reyes hermosa.
If I give them 1 star it’s because there is no star below this. Horrible customer service. I go to this bakery occasionally. Today I went to get tamales and waited for about 20 minutes. When I approached the register, the lady who I thought was nice - turned out to be very DISRESPECTFUL for absolutely no reason. I wanted to pay with my credit card and after waiting, they DO NOT accept credit cards. I replied saying “There should be a sign on the door, people should know that credit cards are NOT accepted.” And the woman said “I did not ask for your opinion.” In shock, I offered her cash. She did not even attend me after waiting so long and proceeded to say “NEXT.” I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I am never coming here again, a lot of my friends are clients here and they also will not be coming here. Whoever owns this bakery, please reconsider who you hire. I wish I knew her name but she’s the one who’s the tallest, young woman. Everyone, please be careful with her. I’m not sure what she’s going through, but she is definitely having a bad day. They do NOT deserve the business.
Always great desserts! Just super long waits.
Ordered a custom cake for my son's 2nd birthday a week in advance. They told me I could pick up the cake after 9am on the day of the party. Got to the bakery around 11:30am where I was informed that the cake was not ready because "their ovens had not been working that morning." Ok-- things happen-- but no one called me to notify me of this. If I had been told, I could have made other arrangements. After relaying this disappointment with their customer service, they promised that the cake would be done by 1pm and they would deliver it to me by 1:30pm. My son's party was at a facility that allowed a 2 hour party time. His party was set to end at 2:45pm. Between 1:15pm and 2:15pm, I had to call them 8 times to get updates on the whereabouts of the cake. Each time, I was lied to. They told me "we will find out where the delivery guy is and call you back,"-- never received a call back. Then, they said "he's on his way, he missed the exit." I had to call again about 5 min later "he's circling around, he's really on the way." They gave me the run around each time I called. Until finally, at 2:15pm my last call to them I told them I no longer wanted the order, as my son's party had 30 min left, guests had already started to leave & I ended up having to run to grab some desserts at a location nearby. VERY POOR customer service. At no point, did anyone from the bakery call me to give me any updates about my order. I had to continuously take time out from my son's party to call them. At the very least, they should have offered any of the stock cakes they keep in the window, just so I would have had something at the party. I don't believe my cake was ever made. I have ordered from them many times and sent customers their way. I will be sharing this story and taking my business elsewhere.
DON'T ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!! My mom ordered a strawberry and Oreo slice of cake, but they gave her two slices of the same cake. She called in to see if she could return it or have it replaced and the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and disrespectful, they told her that it better be first and last time she calls in to ask about fixing an order. The lady also just hung up the phone and acted like the situation was her fault, it was a simple mistake that could've been fixed easily. I suggest that anyone thinking of buying from here should just buy from somewhere else with employees/owners that treat customers right. Having the proper attitude towards customers is just as important as the product. And I also noticed that the owner mainly replys to the good reviews, they don't seem to care about customers who've had a bad experience.
Prices vary. As someone who loves baked goods and have tried a lot of what they and other bakeries offer, I found that their apple pie, strawberry short cake, and their empanadas are excellent. The rest is average. Be prepared - you will get charged a variety of prices based on how wealthy and/or white you look to them that day. My husband and I were charged anywhere from $12 to $18 aka "custom pie" for their pies in the past 5 years. It was clearly inconsistent paying $16 one week and $12 a week after, and clearly not due to an increase in costs. Disappointing, and unprofessional. Sad that they are trying to expand their reach and market themselves to a wider population, yet it is the same population they are ripping off and deliberately overcharging.
Got my brothers wedding cake from coco choco bakery! I am peruvian so I thought getting a Peruvian cake would be excellent. We spoke to the owner personally on how we wanted the cake. She even lowered the price of the cake to negotiate with us. She also gave us a big piece of cake to taste. We ordered the bottom 2 tiers peruvian tres leches & the top dulce de leche. The tres leches was so yummy! Everyone at the wedding was fighting to get another piece! We did have a little trouble with the delivery but I’m letting it slide since the cake itself did come out beautifully and the delivery services aren’t done by the bakery it self. This is my new favorite peruvian bakery!! Finally I found an authentic peruvian bakery
Rude, rude, rude people, the two women that work there have no idea on how to treat their customers, after all they make money because of us. I asked for a cake and they told me they were bringing it inside to put more fruits, I patiently waited for 15 minutes, until I asked again, the women got upset, then she fave me the receipt. I looked at the receipt and they charged me for the big cake and a bag. I nicely told the women, and she handed me the new receipt and with an attitude and loud tone of of voice she said “read it”. They need a customer service training. I will never go there again.
Everything we buy from this bakery is outstanding. Our favorite for sweet and savory treats. Empanadas are amazing and so are the brownies.
