This restaurant is one of our favorites. Whenever we are in Mt Airy, North Carolina, we make a drive out to this beautiful restaurant. The grounds are so scenic. You enter over a covered bridge . The restaurant is super efficient. Even though there was tons of people there it took us half the time they told us it would to be seated. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. They really have good service down.!!

Beautiful place, food was great. Service was very fast. Was quoted 35 mins wait, was less than 30 mins. There is lots to see so the time flies by quickly. Some of the Best staff I have ever come in contact with. Definitely recommend trying the banana pudding cake. Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful. So cool driving over a river through an old wooden bridge and seeing the church also built over the river. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and came in decent time. The place was tremendous full by the time we left. Recommend getting there early.Food: 5/5

Well worth the drive. Wish I had of had my wedding there. The covered bridge log cabin church is beautiful. I highly recommend the blackened pasta with shrimp and chicken. And the pecan praline ice cream in the gift shop is delicious! Wheelchair accessibility: I walk with a cane and had no problem getting around

This place is one of the most Awesome places my wife and I have eat at. Service is great, fast and friendly, the place is Beautiful, the food is out of this world good and delicious. The whole place is in its own little world. I recommend The Depot at Cody Creek to anyone. You all need to go and try it out, you will not be disappointed. Amazing place to eat! The entire area around the restaurant was enjoyable to walk through. There is a small store too. The steak was absolutely delicious and server was really great! I’d love to stay in the attached hotel too

The restaurant was good and the service was great. I don't have any complaints about the food or service at the restaurant. We rented a cabin and was really disappointed with it and would not stay there again. Cabin had really bad lighting. Bathroom light did not work. Had to get rid of 1/2 dozen stink bugs inside cabin. NO wifi and not enough 5G to do any good at the cabin. Cable was provided. They provide coffee but not with a pod coffee pot. The restaurant does not open for breakfast so you have to drive a distance to eat unless you cook. Very limited utensils to work with. The cabin may work for some people but not for me. I will stay at a hotel from now on. The pics make the cabin look brighter than it really was. You have to call the restaurant to book and they don't really offer a lot of details on the internet about the cabins.

We travel around the eastern US in our RV, and this is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere... This is our second visit. We were in Mt Airy visiting Mayberry, whish is 10 miles away from the restaurant. The restaurant has the feel of a hunting lodge out in the country. As you enter off 601, you cross a covered bridge. Thete is a rustic church on the property for weddings. This place gets crowded after 5pm. The restaurant offers a large assortment of good country cooking dishes at very reasonable prices. Everything we have tried is delicious. Tonight, I had the fried chicken brest on mashed potatoes, covered with white country gravy. My wife had the trout. Every entre comes with 2 sides and bread. With 1 wine, our bill was only $40. We will be back.

Great atmosphere!! So much to look at!! Seating was comfortable!! Crowded but not loud!!! Waiter was very pleasant and quick service!! My steak was cooked fine but two ppl in our party asked for mediumwhich was suppose to be pink and they were over cooked!! Cute general store started my Christmas shopping! Would have loved to walk the grounds but we had a gully washer while we were there!! Plan to go back!! Parking: You drive thru a covered bridge!!
