I was in the area and decided to give Collectors Asylum a go and in the end I was glad I did! It's a nice looking store that feels like it is also a home residence, easy to move around in and very clean and colorful to boot! The single individual manning the register was friendly, patient and helpful to boot! The assortment of items provided by the Collectors Asylum was vast, varied and just plain old cool to look at. If I has ONE complaint it was parking I'd a bot AWKWARD but nothing too bad. If you're in the area give Collectors Asylum a chance, it's a nice place! Pictures are of the outside of the building and single but Great Comic I got!
First time visiting today and it was an awesome store! Tons of comics, toys, collectibles at really good prices. Shop owner was very friendly and gave me a great deal. Can't wait to go back! <3
Outstanding and friendly: there is a great selection of back issues and vintage toys. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the owners are particularly fair and open to cutting you deals. This is my fave place to shop for back issues. Bob and Laurel are spectacular people who know there stuff!
2/12/22 Tried going to the original location on Appleton Ave, it was closed and empty. There's a sign on the door saying they moved and would reopen in Jan. Went to the new location in Lannon, didn't see signs, just boxes in a window. Online it says they are hoping to open in March. Looking forward to checking them out when they reopen Really neat store. There is a lot to look at here. I had fun looking through memories really, so much fun stuff. Be prepared to treasure hunt though, especially with the comics they have. The pricing seemed fair. The gal working said hello as we walked in, and left us to wander. I didn't have questions so I was cool with that. My hubby had fun digging through the many boxes of comics. Sign on the door says "Patrons must be at least 16 years if age or accompanied by adult/legal aged guardian to enter store". I completely understand why once we got inside! No sign on the building, just the window, we almost missed it. It's between Pop's Custard and American Family Insurance.
Very eclectic inventory, loved it. I found things I haven’t seen in years and well priced. My daughter asked to open a sealed TPB and the owner was very accommodating. Will be making future trips to their store!!!
Great place, would highly recommend it to any collector. A lot to see with a great variety of comics, toys, figures, and other collectibles. Very nice and helpful owners. Would make this my first stop when looking for any collectibles they list and or have.

New location is so roomy! Easy to walk around and look at items. Nicely organized. Lots of good back issues for reading, and so many collectables! Staff was really patient and helpful.
Came here a few months ago and found some cool stuff. Definitely worth coming back!
