The College of Arts and Sciences offers academic programs in social and natural sciences, mathematics, humanities, and fine and performing arts.
The College of Arts and Sciences is comprised of four schools, 12 departments, five programs, and 16 centers, institutes, or museums. We offer 30 undergraduate majors (with more than 70 specialization options) and 45 graduate degrees. Interdisciplinary degrees and honors classes are available for students who wish to expand their educational experience.
Students learn to communicate effectively, build or increase their cultural literacy, and develop analytical and critical thinking skills that will fortify their careers and prepare them to be successful global citizens.
Our faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for their research and creative enterprises. They share their expertise with students in the classroom and through undergraduate and graduate research opportunities in a variety of programs, projects, and laboratories.
