Office Flowers B/F works night shift and responds to the Camp Creeks/ Hershel rd area. Very Rude and Unpleasant Everytime she comes out . She allows her badge to make her believe that she can curse people out, she doesn’t listen to the problem before she reacts . As an officer of the law I thought her job was to protect and serve. That is the last thing on her mind. She lacks sympathy , Talks to people like she runs college park. I called the police to my job sight where a person didn’t want to pay for a service Flowers accompanied by Officer Grace threatened to arrest me for kidnapping. She is unaware of the law , at the rate she going , there will be multiple lawsuits filed against CPD!
I am relocating to College Park from out of state and I called to obtain information regarding police presence at a particular complex but I recieved NO help. I was on hold for a long time and when i called two different phone numbers, i was told that i had to call back mid week to talk to one particular person. Why is there not more than one person that can answer my one question? Such a great first experience.
The most incompetent group of people I have dealt with. Called about an issue. The 2 officers who responded sent me to another jurisdiction to handle it . The other jur supervisor literally said " that's the laziet police force he's ever encountered" and sent me back to speak with a supervisor. Waited 3 hours to speak with him just to give a report to the front desk clerk I was looking at for the past 3 hours. Filled out all the paperwork and did a video statement just to call back and no report is on file. This place had me.waste 6 hours of my life . Dispatch was very helpful and one lady from the records department
I’ve had nothing but a positive outcome with CPP. They are very quick arriving to the scene. The officers I came into contact with have a genuine initiative to serve and protect the community. Thank you for all you do! Denise Haislip
Some of College park police are incompetent. Officer failing to properly fill out a police report resulting in me not being able to retrieve property. And some are rude
Officer Ware was very rude to me last night. I can't believe they have such grumpy and grimey characters protecting and serving our community. I asked him one question and he dictated as if i were the suspect. Furthermore, officer Johnson made fun of my circumstances and ultimately the officer gave me a invalid case number so that I can not pursue my boyfriend's freedom. Johnson never attempted to knock or grab the suspect from behind the door in the duration of his presence.yet one of my boyfriend's charges was resisting. This particular system is not honest at all.
If I could rate it 0 stars I would due to dealing with an incompetent police officer named M. Smith. Last February 8, 2018 I was headed to the college park marta station from camp creek parkway to head to class. I was hit on the back left driver side by a truck that turned the same time I did. There was no space between the truck & my car and tried to speed up & got hit. The truck didn't pull over & follow me either. I pulled over, checked the damage & then called the police. I met Officer M. Smith & his partner and told him my side of the story. The evidence showed that the truck hit me & not the other way around, but Officer Smith believed the lies the other party told him & cited me with the ticket. What made things worse was that Officer Smith & his partner already made up their minds that I was at fault before talking to me. I later found out that the other party was in a company vehicle & claimed that I had someone unlicensed driving my car when I was the only one in the car. I believe that a more competent police officer who wasn't biased would had made a fair decision concerning the accident. I ended up paying $700 unnecessarily which hurts because I'm a veteran & full-time college student on limited incomed gi bill. With incomptent police officers like M. Smith, I know why crimes don't get resolved. Officer M. Smith is incompetent & I would file a complaint if it wasn't 6 months later.
If I could give this terrible place a zero star rating I would. Officer Bennett has a terrible attitude and even called me retarded over the phone just because I called in to make sure my loved one was okay and not harmed by anyone. It's just sad to know that people like her take pride in putting her own people down...especially at a time like this. I did however learn an interesting fact that police officers have intelligence barrier tests and if your grade is too high on the test you are not allowed to be a cop. I guess that explains a lot of the people that work there. Even when we went to his court date, the Officer who arrested him, Officer Blackwell I believe, never even put in the paperwork for the court case! He was so worried about racially profiling people that he couldnt do a simple task like scanning a ticket. We literally spent about 2-3 hours at that terrible place because no one in there is even smart enough to do the simple tasks assigned to them. Then after we finally got everthing settled, we realized that the officer stole a very expensive item out of our car during the arrest. Knowing them we might not ever see it again but we will still take the time to file a $10.00 police report. Yes it actually costs to file a police report. that should let you know that they are only out for themselves and not to help the public. Gotta love Georgia and their "justice" system. If you're a person who follows neomasculinity, you can hold protests right down the street from two major universities in downtown atlanta to legalize the rape of women on private property and not go to jail. If you have a broken headlight on a vehicle? Not only are you going to jail, but you are also going to end up paying more than $1000.00 in fees.
The Worst service I have ever encountered. The officer answering the phone was rude and transferred my call without notice or reason. I was transferred to the dispatch who was even worse. She transferred me to a mailbox that was not set up. There is no wonder there is nothing but crime in the city. If you cant call on Law enforcement for simple assistance, who are you to call??? Maybe Batman or Victor Hill can help.
It Is My Impression That College Park Police Are Not Clear On How To Protect And Serve Anyone! They Come Into Communities Treating Everyone Like Criminals, Enforcing Their Power Before Evaluating The Situation And Enabling Human Emotion And Understanding. They Don't Come To Help Avoid Escalation, They Come With The Intent Of Locking Someone Up And Escalating The Situation. These are their core values copied from the website refer to the college park police department website for more detail it is my opinion that they DO NOT UPHOLD THEM! 1. Service to our communities DONT SERVICE AT ALL! THEY JUST LOOK FOR WAYS AND REASONS TO ARREST PEOPLE 2. Reverence for the law In crucial and harsh ways 3. Commitment to leadership How can they be leaders when no one is following? 4. Integrity in all we say and do Upholding the laws? Not quite. Miranda rights, did they say those before arresting you? 5. Respect for people How many times have you brrbn disrespected by them? My point. 6. Quality through continuous improvement I'm 100% sure I don't see any improvement and I've been in the College Park area for 18yrs. The same old harsh cruel treatment to people
