The mission of the Cultural Arts and Recreation is to enhance the livelihood of all ages through cultural arts and recreation.
The Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts was founded in 1955 by the City of College Park, as the Recreation Department. The Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts consists of three centers today: Wayman and Bessie Brady, Hugh C. Conley and Tracey Wyatt, formerly known as the Godby Road Center. Each center offers various activities for both youth and adults.
The Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts consists of parks, pavilions, tennis courts and walking trails for your leisure enjoyment. Pavilions at our parks can be reserved for activities as well as our Historic College Park City Auditorium. College Park also has a state of the art golf academy.
