Well kind of a place just to take a quick nap and get a shower. The floor was sticky all throughout my stay. The housekeeping guy whom I witnessed when called to my room for moping was observed using the bathroom towel for moping. No cupboard to hang your coat. Not good for a long stay. They never clean the room on a daily basis as well as no change of bedsheets too. Totally disappointed.
Was not clean, microwave was gross,, like they didn't even bother at all, new bathrooms but still smelled funky, nice windows, but no screen or lock, didn't feel so safe on the 1st floor by myself so did not sleep at all, I was yelled at when I called the front for the wifi password bc it was 2am...weird... All in all, it's the bare minimum,not so bad when u need a place in this area. Air worked well nice t.v.
Yes definitely understand renovation HAD a spacious room but was not worth $75 only could stay one night. If I could have found another place that wasn't an hr drive I would have never stayed. The entire room REEKED of a bad odor, the bathroom was even worst. Their was these fly like things in the room when I first checked in. I had to get bug spray along with scented sprays kill the fly like things and try freshen the room. Needless to say it didn't work the room still REEKED and the flies were back when I returned from dinner and when I awaken the this morning. It needs a total remodel.
Room was clean and available between other reservations when everyone else was booked. Held it for me until I could come from another area. Very friendly staff & most of all, VERY QUIET!!
I spent two weeks here and in that time I had to go get the vacuum and clean myself. The sheets were not changed. No dusting and no replacing towels or toI let paper. Gross!
Was charged for television stations we never watched, because our TV was BROKEN. How do you order channels with a broken television? When we checked out, it was "too early", and the owner was furious he had been woken up. He proceeded to argue with my fiance, and then chased him out of the service station with a bat. The bathroom was covered in blood and vomit, and we found used syringes. Good luck anyone staying here.
It was a bed to sleep in for the night. That's about it. The manager I guess came outside at one point as I was getting things out of truck bed and was reorganizing, and told me it was "quite time" and that I had to go to my room and stay there. That surprised me a bit. Then he came out a 2nd time and told me I could not be doing that . Funny part was, there we're NO other people there !!! And that's All I have to say about that. Basically a dive. But a bed to sleep in.
OK so I rented a two night stay online here. The first thing that I noticed is that the man at the front desk didn't know how much I paid for the room he asked me how much, but when he gave us the key he then told us when we check out to leave the key in the room and just lock the door and leave. Then I look at a note written and text up on the wall that said that you will no longer have to boil your water that the wood here at colonial Village motel is now in Fest thre then I look at a note written and text up on the wall that said that "you will no longer have to boil your water that the water here at colonial Village Motel is now infest free." Now that was all before I even made it to the room. When I made it to the room it was a standard room with a mini fridge and a microwave the TV two double beds and a bathroom. When I walked into the bathroom the pristine white towels face and bodywere dirty, there were cobwebs on the wall, burn holes in both of the bed and floors. To top it off they have bedbugs. I dreaded the thought so after one night and realizing the bedbugs I was out of there and of course there are no refunds!!! so heed my warning guys !!!!!!
The owner of this place is such a rude, hostile man.I paid on time and never gave them trouble. We overstayed our welcome after being there close to three months. We made sure we came up with the $350 a week it cost to stay there and we were still treated so poorly by the owner of this motel. I was appalled and couldn't wait to leave. If u have out of town guests, send them to Warrington to The Hampton Inn. Hopefully they will understand customer service!
Hard to tell how it is because I am giving someone a hand with some personal belongings.
