Well kind of a place just to take a quick nap and get a shower. The floor was sticky ...

Kinsman Lodge is amazing. A place that makes you feel at home. Sue is an angel. A warm, sweet soul that is endearing with every conversation. Place was clean, room was good sized, location was serene and peaceful. We loved Sue's breakfast in the mornings and being able to use the kitchen to cook some of our other meals. We would definitely come back: We hope to see Sue next time we come back and hope the inn stays in the family for future generations to come! Worth every penny and more. Would go back to sitting on the wrap around porch with the hummingbirds buzzing and Sue telling us stories about her husband and family anytime. Nearby activities: Great hikes nearby
The most amazing experience at this beautiful lodge. It's located at an amazing location in the woods and trails are very close from here. Sue is an amazing host and her warm hospitality made us feel at home. The homemade breakfast is absolutely delicious, especially the cupcakes. Definitely going back.Rooms: 5/5
Truly excellent. Breakfast is really great, and the hostess was helpful and friendly. They were able to provide some valuable guidance and suggestions for our hike up one of the nearby peaks.
I stayed at he Kinsman Lodge after dropping my son at Camp Tamarack. The proprietor, Sue Thompson is a wonderful host -- full of charm, hospitality, and important local insights to guide your stay. The lush grounds with wonderful White Mountain views are manna-from-heaven for a New Jerseyan stopping in after a long car ride. My room was well appointed and clean. I'm not a big breakfast guy. But the bacon and muffins were too enticing, and I ended up eating more than I usually eat. I only wish I had extended my stay another day or two!
Sue did a great job hosting us. We will be telling our friends. Her breakfast is amazing, my wife is still talking about the waffles. The muffins were great too. The living room area with the fireplace is cozy and has many books and games to past the time on cold or rainy days.
Sue is a wonderful host. She was very understanding and allows pets, for no additional fee. My dog was being surly with all the stimulation of a new place and Sue was an absolute doll about it. Truly a caring person. Loved our stay, beyond what I expected for a bed and breakfast.Rooms: 5/5
If I could give 10 stars I would. Sue goes over and above to make your stay memorable, she's the best. Visiting the Lodge is like visiting your old family home, warm, welcoming and comfortable. We'll be back.
This is an absolute gem in the Franconia area! We love staying here with our dogs, the host is one of the most fabulous humans I have ever met, and the breakfast is tasty and nourishing! The bed and breakfast has many local tips for hikes, food, and so much more, and it is wonderful staying in a place with so much history in the area.Rooms: 5/5
