Colorado Krav Maga, Inc began as Northern Colorado Krav Maga, LLC, founded by James and Shannon Hiromasa.
James and Shannon began Teaching Krav Maga in 1997 in Fort Collins. After leaving there they established in Broomfield in 2002 by buying a small school that was already in operation with 12 students. The facility was located in about 1500 sq feet in the K-mart plaza in Broomfield. Within a year they had outgrown the space and began looking for better accommodations.
Over the years and after relocating for expansion several times, the Broomfield Training Center is now in about 5000sq/ft of State of the Art space at 6470 w 120th ave, with 3 complete and separate training floors. Some of the original 12 members of the Broomfield Training Center still train there today.
In 2006 they opened the Denver Krav Maga Training Center, and have since also expanded into a 5000sq/ft state of the art facility located at 3330 Larimer st. that matches the layout of the Broomfield Training Center. This center has since expanded into a larger facility at 5200 Broadway, Denver.
Oct 2013 saw the opening the Littelton/Highlands Ranch Training Center at 207 w County Line Rd.
May 2014 COKM officially began classes in west Lakewood at 13701 W. Jewell Ave
To continue to evolve and grow the Krav Maga self defense system while bringing the best and most talented in the system together, without politics. To continue to amalgamate Krav Maga with the ever changing force options of our Law Enforcement and Military personel.
