Comfort Keepers hires the very best caregivers to provide seniors with the best possible care, allowing them to age in place, at home, where things are familiar and feel safe and comfortable. We treat our clients and our caregivers as we would treat our family and although we have the support of a big company, we are a family-owned local small business with a passion for helping seniors.
The Comfort Keepers philosophy focuses on Interactive Caregiving, which means that we look out for the physical and mental well-being of our clients, while making sure that they have the nutrition they need and are living in a safe environment. This also means that we want the senior to participate in their normal activities and hobbies in whatever way is possible for them. In other words, we meet them where they are and help them to participate in daily living to the very best of their ability.
We provide companionship and personal care, which can mean a variety of things such as household chores, making meals, running errands, helping with bathing or dressing, attending social functions or doing activities with the senior that they enjoy.
