I've been here 3 times in a year 1/2 1st time they gave us a hotel room for the night it was so appreciated not that great but at least we had a place to lay or heads the next time food was incredible this last time I came in late after 2p the food was ok alot of spoiled food but still managed to get some things to hold us over I asked for milk and eggs the 2 ladies were totally Spanish speaking so I just went on to canned goods and bread a Sweetheart came up and offered coconut milk and had some eggs for me he heard me trying to communicate with the ladies he was so precious Arman! Then when I brought the basket back he gave me a plant I also picked up a candle a huge box of Ghirardelli brownie mixes I left thinking about how blessed I am to have met these wonderful people and really wished I had paid better attention in my Spanish class. God bless you all and the lady up front that walked me through the computer sign in. It's a wonderful thing you all are doing just know yall are appreciated and loved.
Lots of volunteer opportunities here. The directors I met here a few years ago were professional and excited about their work and how they can help people. I refer friends in need because I believe they will receive some of the essential help they need that I can't always provide on my own. I appreciate services like this in our community and all the donors who give of their time and money to make it happen. Thank you!
The most incredible place that anyone with conflicting ideas of “where to start” after hitting an unexpected and life-altering bump in the road can anticipate receiving the aid they need. While this is NOT a free for all meeting group, Circles is derived of caring individuals who’s goal is to help individuals gain self-worth and sufficiency so they can learn to manage their own lives in a constructive, rather than destructive, manner. Julie is one of the four leaders conducting this class. And while each has her own contributing specialty, they all work sufficiently as a team towards a common goal, ensuring every question receives a fulfilling response before moving on. If you find yourself in a situation where you’re even considering you may need help, waiting until you’re certain may not be the best choice as this class takes 8 weeks. Besides, the knowledge gained will ultimately benefit you and your family. If you can make the time, this program is highly recommended. Call and THEN decide—you and your family will be relieved you did. Tell them MJ sent you!
This place is just trying to do the best that it can you please do work hard and try to care, but it's just so hard because they're so slam busy, and they see the same people, they en Day Out, not doing good, so it's hard to be positive and in that job. All the groceries they have are just about expired or are expired. They have a lot of gross stuff but also a few good. Thanks, I mean, it's helpful to the community and I appreciate what they're doing but I wish they got better food. Body food and sorted it better described. Described what? When and where it was made, and what led it to? That shelf that you're Grabbing from
I can't begin to explain how amazing and nice the people who work here are. They are currently helping as I am homeless at the moment and I just got a job I start next Tuesday at. They still are motivating me to find something permanent and where I could make more money and it be stable. They also give me tasks to achieve and complete so that the next time I come in They are still able and willing to help me. The hotel room that they helped provide me after being on the street for a couple weeks reminded me just how nice having your own bed and roof is ill never take that for granite again!! These women and men are truly heros in my eyes and I'm so grateful that they are there too help. If you are having doubts or are scared trust me going in and talking with them is worth it. Thank all of you guys!!!
The food pantry here is busy… said an hour was the wait time but it was prob only about 20-25 min. The people are nice and The‘ regulars‘ there seem to be very happy also there’s a gentleman behind me singing like opera style it was quite loud and a little startling if you weren’t expecting it but he was good and everyone who is volunteering there seem to enjoy it also
To bad would have loved to get some help feeding my family, we drove an hour and fifteen minutes to get help with food, sat in the waiting room for another 45 minutes filling out the information just to get called up and turned away because we didn’t live in the county, and when we asked if they could help at all we got told no…… Thought food banks were here to help families in need but apparently not this one.
8 lbs of meat for 7 people isn't enough I got 2 lbs over and was chewed out but the staff hide meat for themselves and leave less for people who actually need it best to go somewhere else that actually care about people in need. Update: I emailed the supposably customer service and they didn't say anything they could care less.
This place started out good and has only gotten better with time. They've been improving and expanding their services the entire time I've interacted with them.
The only reason why I give 2 stars is because of a specific case worker who kept putting my case off, and not giving it the attention it needed. She had my information for nearly 2 months, and put me in jeopardy. She claimed to have done all of this reaching out, when o had been discovering that it was all a lie. This could’ve been a racial thing, but she will deny it and say “I’ve been working on your case.” If that was the case, then it shouldn’t have taken 2 MONTHS to get information, just for her to drop my case. Thanks, Joni…
