Visited Community Tap as we have heard great things about this place. They have a huge selection of craft beers and wines. Maybe we just visited on an off night, but the staff was not very friendly. The IPA’s were good, and the food vendor for the night was not bad. Wasn’t the best experience I’ve had at a local tap room, but certainly wasn’t the worst.
Truth be told, we went for a sake tasting so my review may be skewed by that. Cool little spot with plenty of nearby parking, outside seating and space. Private event area was very accommodating for our group. Beer selection was very good. Service was fine, nothing to write home about and surprisingly slower than expected - other locations I have visited were much better. If you are a beer or wine hopefully Sake soon enthusiast then you should give it a try. Kid-friendliness: Not a lot of space to run around like a typical brewery but plenty of Ty of families with kids when we went.
Very nice selection of beer. They have a fair amount of wine as well, but I paid no mind to it. They to go beer was pricey but they did have a large variety to choose from. So while some 4 packs are $28 no joke you can still find a 6 pack for $10. They have a nice selection of beer on tap to enjoy there as well. Tons of indoor seating, and more out back on a deck, or in the parking lot covered by a tent with tables and benches. They kept the place nice and clean as well! I will go back.
I visited on a Monday evening and probably caught them on an off day. The setting is bucolic and the location is great when you are riding bikes around town, but the vibe reminded me of an airport bar inside. If you order anything with the ability to create a head you get at least an inch of that. It says free wifi, but it's not clearly posted and good luck getting anyone's help after you close the ticket. FYI they allow 2 tasting pours before ordering.
My family brought me to Community Tap years before we moved here and I applaud their growth, service and professionalism. Between their selection, service, wine club, events and food trucks there isn’t a better place in North Main!Food: 5/5
Excellent spot! They have a great beer and wine selection and very knowledgeable staff. They also have a great rotation of local food trucks that have some amazing food! The Black Thai is outstanding! The outdoor patio area is a great spot to hang out when the weather is nice.
Knowledgeable staff, extensive selection of packaged wines, ciders, and beer. 20 taps with local and national brews on draft. Smaller but thoughtful list of wines and ciders by the glass. Consistent food truck presence and plenty of seating indoors and out. Comfortable when flying solo for a post-work drink or with a group for a lunch time meeting. Update COVID - holy wow did they do a phenomenal job adapting to the chaos that is COVID in South Carolina. From getting inventory online and available for purchase to staff being available, helpful, and kind. Love them even more than I did before!
Great local place for wine, beer, cider & seltzer. Whether shopping to take home or looking to relax and try one of their many drinks on tap with friends, this place more than likely has the exact beverage you are looking for. We've also attended many tastings here beer and wine and have always had a great experience.
Great taproom with friendly staff, a wide selection of tasty adult beverages, all in a relaxed community environment. Food trucks alternate onsite to provide yummy eats. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They’re also dog friendly which is a huge plus for me. Overall, a real gem!
Terrific local place with an excellent beer/cider/wine selection. Lots of to go options as well. Haven't checked out their food truck situation but the atmosphere is super friendly and conducive to drinking beer my favorite activity of all time
