The staff and doctors are so friendly and they truly care about their patients! I felt very advocated for even when my insurance was being difficult!
Worst place to have a doctor visit not enough doctors and ridiculous wait time you may have to stand for 4 hours and still not get seen.
My experience over the last 2 years with this office was terrible. Jeevan Suhas has consistently been unprofessional, rude and erratic. The office dropped me as a patient when I requested to go back to Dr. McKinney for treatment due to Jeevan's behavior. The wait time was consistently over and hour late for most recent appointments and then given a 5 minute rushed phone call. The only reason they are receiving 1 star is my experience with Dr. McKinney was positive. In response to your response: I had requested my phone appointments be recorded because of Jeevon’s behavior. That request was never accommodated, if it had been you would owe me and many of his other patients and apology. For me to “speak up” about my experience does not justify you accusing me of verbal abuse. Your response is not surprising, just disappointing. It’s really too bad that you’re the only local clinic available. I’m guessing that’s why your NP hasn’t been held accountable for his actions thus far.
I had a work comp injury back in July of 2020 and I also had a pre-existing injury from back in November of 2019. I was first treated by Chico immediate Care which was a horrible experience. I had my attorneys terminate treatment through Chico immediate Care and send me to comp medical. I was treated there by a physician named Suhas and at my very first appointment he actually tended to all of my medical needs and requested the studies and exams that I needed to have completed to get help with my case. Unfortunately my work comp insurance kept denying every request the physician Suhas had submitted that didn't stop him from trying his hardest to get me the treatment I needed. He even had me seen by the main doctor who is dr. McKinney and that doctor did an evaluation on me and further requested the same treatments that doctor Suhas requested. The physician that I seen at Comp medical tried over and over again to get me treatment he never stopped fighting for me. Unfortunately work comp never gave me approval for the treatment I needed and after long discussions with my treating physician at comp medical and my attorneys I decided to settle for a ridiculous small amount so that I could be treated by my private insurance to get relief from my pain. I appreciate all the hard work that comp medical and the physician that was treating me put in to try and get me the treatments needed. My experience with comp medical was great I always felt validated and I never felt ignored. I appreciate the advice from my treating physician and all the hard work he put in to try and get me services. I have seen a lot of bad reviews on here and I'm confused as to why, people need to understand it's not the physicians fault that your insurance is denying your treatment it has nothing to do with the treating physicians that is all based on your insurance company denying your treatment. Thank you, comp medical for all your help with my injury. I will miss my treating physician and his staff.
I have unfortunately been thru the work comp system before and this is the first time when I felt like the doctor was on my side. Thank you Dr. Suhas and staff!
I had a difficult case and Dr. Jeevan Suhas was the best, he listened and heard me, which is rare in the medical field. I wish he'd quit comp and come be my regular Dr! I have nothing but good to say about this office, Kelly is very professional as the receptionist, she is always up beat and pleasant to all who call or come in. Everyone I had contact with in this office was very helpful. Thank you all for your hard work.
The staff refuses to provide my work status to me when asked. The N.P. Jothi Keenan Suhas got up in my face screaming at me to leave for being on the phone with my Nurse case manager who was suppose to be at this appointment but couldnt make it due to construction. The N.P. Jothi Keenan Suhas was doing all this during COVID without a mask! There are no signs in the lobby that state you cannot use the phone but if you do you will be assaulted by the staff! And their M.D. is an old perv he was doing telamed and was attempting to assess my hand by staring at my chest. Dr. McKinney doesn't listen to his patients because he prescribed me a topical gel that I told him didn't work for my pain with how often we all have to wash our hands with COVID add to this the fact I'm in the medical field and wash my hands several time in a the day already a topical gel just doesnt work.
COMP is a worst place to go. The N.P. Jothi Jeevan doesn’t care about our concern. He is very unprofessional to the employee. I have to wait 3 hours in the room for nothing when I’m trying to return back to work. They violated HIPAA law having employee who is not medical assistant giving me injection.
I'm doing this review not because I had business with COMP but was lost looking for a lawyer's office in the area. They were very helpful and polite. The front desk staff pointed me in the right direction...even offered me water. Friendly staff!!! Thanks!!!
Staff is nice not overwhelmingly fake like other medical facilities. Easy to work with. They get you in and out as fast as they can.
