Simply beautiful! Great resting spot to hang out along the bike trail! There's also parking spots available
Great small park right near Coligny Beach from the bike path. They have handicap accessible restrooms, access, and a great statue with an alligator and man that kicked off the Hilton Head National obsession. Great park for photography and perfectly situated near restaurants and retail.
This is a cute little park that we stumbled upon when taking a walk down a bike path/sidewalk. We stopped for shelter from a quick rain shower and enjoyed the bench swing for a bit. It was peaceful, quiet, and clean.
Nice place to walk for a while. Handicap access, trash and a ton of cámaras looking at you. Bring mosquito spray and enjoy seeing baby alligators for free! Free wifi
Compass Rose Park is located on the corner of New Orleans Rd and Pope Ave. It is right off the bike path and has a covered pavilion with signs discussing the modern day history of Hilton Head starting with Charles Fraser. There are also on site swings near a reflecting pool and a life size statue of Sea Pines founder Charles Fraser walking next to an alligator. The sculpture is based on a famous photo from the Saturday evening post in 1962. It is a great stopping point on a bike ride or place for a picnic lunch from one of the many nearby restaurants.
It's a small, but nice, beautiful, park to relax. Has a porch swing, and covered areas to sit. Nice ambiance to relax and escape the hustle of life.
Very cute area. We stopped here while walking
The kids and I love stopping here. Great stop in along the bike route. Also, climb on the gator…
Always a fun place to bike to when my family stays in HH. Can almost guarantee seeing a gator, turtle or snakes along the paths
Cute, small, and well-maintained park. bike trail is there.
