Nick's Steak and Seafood

Nice place for a break from the crazy crowds of the islands most popular restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately and the food came out rather quickly considering we ordered multiple steaks. The steaks were over cooked from what was ordered but not enough to send them all back. Great choice for a quick bite to eat when you are not in the mood for a long wait. Kid-friendliness: Ok for kids, it does not seem like the type of place where people go on date night/looking for quiet.

I really enjoyed dining at Nick’s during my vacation! I wish I could remember the server’s name to mention her because she done an outstanding job. We dined Wed May 24 around 730pm, were seated inside by the window which faces the patio. She gave us the best service. I hope she is working there when we return next year. The food was so good, tasted fresh and came out fast. I came for the crab and shrimp dip!

Good food and above average service. I had the filet mignon. It was very tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. We went around 4:30 pm, on a Wednesday afternoon. We were able to get a table for 4 with no problem. Easy access to the front door from the parking lot.

This was my husband and I first time visiting Hilton Head Island. It took me an hour going through reviews and other seafood restaurants and I just decided on this one. The perfect place for dinner and drinks and the staff was perfect and so welcoming. The service all around was awesome and now Nicks Steak And Seafood is top on my travel list of great restaurants. We have visited during lunch time the last 3 years of our Hilton Head vacation and have enjoyed the food and service. This visit will be our last. The food quality was just ok. None of it looked fresh and the taste was bland. The service was not up to past experience. We were one of 3 tables in use at lunch time and the only waitress seemed not to care about being there and was not welcoming, friendly or interested in serving us. Upon leaving, went to use the restroom and the waitress was sitting on the bathroom floor on her phone. She pushed herself up, left the restroom and never washed her hands. Really disappointed because we used to love coming here. I had looked at the recent reviews before we went and decided to go back despite some of the negative reviews. A lot of them referenced the service and one particular server but I didn't give it much thought since we all have bad days. After this visit, I would guess the server mentioned is related to the owner and nothing will change. That being said, we will not be returning.

Our family of 13, including kids from 16 mos. to 16 years, had a delicious meal here. We made reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. Menu highlights were the crab legs, Captain's Platter, Beaufort Redfish and steaks! Our server was quick and efficient. Highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: Laid-back atmosphere welcomes families. Good kids menu.

The best steak I’ve had in years! The New York strip was prepared perfectly. The Carolina chicken was tasty as well. The desserts sounded terrific but not gluten free. Plus, we were too full. This was literally an oasis for us. We were riding our rental bikes near lunch time and coincidentally rode by this place. OMG! food was delicious!! Staff was super friendly. Nice outdoor seating under big oak trees. We got plenty of water and beer and continued our ride fully re-charged.
