The one guy that worked behind the counter was a bit of a douche. He was very rude. Otherwise we had a great time.

Best burger and onion rings you will find in the entire town! Very friendly and fun people in here! Woman preparing my burger did so with cleanly washed BARE HANDS old-school style, not dirty re used all day plastic gloves like fast food places. Really great food, ill be back for sure
I am giving 5 stars because this is usually a wonderful place to go, and the restaurant is my favorite in town. Im not one to go around negative reviews for places but I was insanely disappointed with how we were treated by one employee yesterday 3-20. It was my daughter's birthday so I thought it'd be nice to let the kids do some bowling and the 10 adults could get dinner/drinks from the restaurant while the 3 kids had fun bowling. I called to make sure there was open bowling and we all met up at 3 and let the tournament clear out a little before we came in. I understand that there are special packages for birthdays and such but since it was just going to be 3 kids bowling and the adults were just there to eat. We didn't bring the cake along because I know there is a posted sign that says no outside food/drinks. We did, however bring her gifts in with us because we didn't think it was gonna get anyone's underwear in a bunch. We had fully prepared to bring all of the tissue paper/wrapping paper garbage home with us to dispose of in our own receptacle. We walked in with the gifts and the white haired lady behind the counter intercepted us and asked us what we were doing..seeing as it's a bowling alley/restaurant I think the answer should have been obvious. The way she treated our whole party was just rude and out of line. The only thing I can really see being an issue was having her open her presents but nonetheless she told us that we HAD to be out by 5 which we had already planned on.... because that's when open bowling was over. After that incident we brought the gift bags back to the car because it was such a huge deal mind you at this point almost all of the adults in our party were ready to just leave because it really felt like our business wasn't wanted there and since I knew this was just a one off, I got the kids on a lane and started taking dinner orders. After that she either got off work or went and hid somewhere else because we didn't see her after that. Now, all that being said, everyone else who was there after that was AMAZING. Lady who made the food at the bar was awesome, and the food was awesome as always. The young girl behind the counter after the the rude one left was also, amazing! I think we ended up spending close to $200 all together once all was said and done. Thing is, it could have been even more though because had we not felt so unwelcome I know at least 3 more of the adults would have bought a couple more games to play alongside the kids. We could have hung out and had another round of drinks, too because we did end up having a good time after the one lady left. All things considered and I don't know the going rates I think had we not been disrespected within the first 5 minutes we could have spent another $100 which might offset the fact we didn't reserve a party package. All I ask is you have her try to be a little nicer before freaking out at a family who wants to give their birthday girl a good time. Will definitely return because of the food. But the bowling, if she's there there's no question we won't stay.
It is true, like everyone says, BEST burgers in town!! Really good flavor and huge! Cooked to perfection!! The cheese tots are excellent too and a really good deal! And for their size, the burgers are a great deal too, since they are a 1/2 lb. burger!
Food was amazing! Atmosphere was great. The claw machine took a lot of my money abd gave a few toys for the kids but everyone had fun!
It is as always a great experience eating here, food is great. Never disappoints, recommend goin there if you haven't already. We have known the owners for 20 plus years and they are all very nice. Stop by for some great food and a couple of course!!!
Have been coming here of late for "Belvidere's best burgers". Rest assured, it's true. It's cash only, so come with the green paper in your wallet. Prices are good and the food is excellent. Be forewarned that it comes with some sass from the crew. But I like that. Feels just like home.
It's an alright bowling alley, but our balls kept getting stuck and not coming in the ball return. Good lanes though! They also dont take cards, seemed a little outdated. Girl at the counter was super helpful.
