Easy access to hwy 101. The place is a bit run down, maintenance-wise. The owners try to keep up maintenance without additional help. The owner is pleasant and generally helpful. The park is generally quiet and peaceful. Recent SIGNIFICANT increase in price without prior notification was our final reason for leaving. We had a growing list. Good place if your staying for a short time and have plenty other things to do besides hanging out in the RV park.
It's been nice for me . Mike manager he's been helpful and willing to help out. They are going out of their help us out in anyway possible. It's a quite rv park I'd recommend staying here
We arrived to the park on July 3 at 11:50p. The park was full, but Marcus owner just so happened to be there attending to something. Instead of saying sorry and turning us away, he was able to find us a place we could park for the night. He took care of us when we were in a bind. He was incredibly generous and helpful. Thanks again!
Conestoga Quarters RV Park is the park with a heart. The rates are very affordable and the folks that run the place make you feel at home. The WiFi is probably the best I’ve ever had at a park. It is conveniently located near a bus stop to town and they have a great dog park. The owner Mike is always improving the park in his free time. The extended stay residents are friendly and have well-kept rigs. This is as much a business is it is a passion project. If you decide to stay at Conestoga you won’t regret it.
We were exploring the Olympic peninsula and hauled our 37’ camper. Every place except here around the area was booked for the 4 days that we were there for so we unfortunately had to reserve a spot at this rv park. When we got here we could tell it was very run down but Bob who helped up was very kind and got us into our reserved “pull through” site. I don’t know how they can consider these “pull through” because we were having a hard time with a 37’ camper and truck. The sites are somewhat level so that was nice but the sites are VERY cramped when a lot of people come in. The first 3 nights we had a neighbor with a very small rv on the left drivers side of our rv where we have a slide out but they thankfully did not have a right side slide out. The last night we were there we got a neighbor that had slide outs on both sides of their rv and thought it would be a good idea to extend their slide out and awning where it was just inches from our slide out. You can barely exit your own rv and not hit your neighbors camper with your camper door. They REALLY should extend these sites so they’re wider. This is the worst campground that I have ever been to. As far as the people in the campground, it’s fairly quiet but the rv park sits right next to hwy 101 so it’s very loud as far as traffic goes. The bathrooms are pretty run down and are a very ugly dark purple color. They have 3 toilet stalls in both bathrooms and a fairly decent sized stall with one shower. The water is warm and they looked somewhat clean so that was a plus. They do not have codes to get into the bathrooms and the shower is free to use. We did bring our 2 sons only kids at the campground who are 5 and 9 and they wanted to ride their bikes on the gravel driveway but the last night they couldn’t because of all of the cars parked everywhere. The sites are so small that people use what looks to be a small grassy area behind the last camping loop there are 2 camping loops. The campground calls this an “overflow parking area” but you really can only fit about 4 or 5 vehicles back there for 34 sites. We ended up having to park our truck right behind our camper sideways so we were out of the loop so we didn’t get hit and we were still in the roadway where campers come in through. They claim to have 34 camping sites but I’m not sure how they would be able to fit that many rv’s in here. They look to have quite a few long term campers there so not all sites are available. They have WiFi but it is extremely slow but that’s pretty typical for any rv park especially with quite a few long term campers. We tried finding reviews on this rv park before reserving a spot to see what it looked like and didn’t find much so we took a chance. A chance that I wish we wouldn’t have taken. We should have known why this rv park was the only one that wasn’t fully booked. Now we know why. We will never camp here again!
I truly appreciate those running Conestoga. Mike and Chet have been very helpful in helping this novice camper out. Chet even came out one night to help me with problem with electric and lowing the table into a bed. So thankful for them.
I have lived at Conastoga Quarters for nearly 15 years. I'm still here after all this time. The landlords are very nice people and have treated me exceptionally well. I help around the property when needed, and it's my pleasure. It's a very safe place as I never have seen any problems. I have traveled all over the Country and this park is Peaceful! Thanks, Johnny
We stayed here in 32’ Class A in mid October for four nights. This is a no-frills type of RV park with none of the amenities that an RV resort has, if you are looking for that then the KOA down the road is probably better for you. For our purpose, Conestoga was perfect. They accept passport America with a very reasonable rate of $18/night for FHU. Also a great location close to the NP and other area attractions. Mike, the owner, is very customer service oriented and a very friendly guy all around, it was nice to chat with him. The only downside to this park is the proximity to the road both pro and con and the road noise that generates as well as close spots since it is a small park. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, would I recommend it? Also absolutely. Makes a great homebase to explore the northern peninsula.
Great place and reasonably priced. It has showers, bathrooms and laundry services. If you're looking for a great place to stay then look no further.
We stayed here in a travel trailer for about a week and had a very good experience. It is a smaller park, and has a few full time residents. It was very well maintained and cared for. The area is perfect for Olympic National Park area. It is called the "blue hole" area where it stays dry for the most part instead of raining like the rest of the area, so that was a nice relief from being in the other areas of WA where it rained the entire time we were there. The thing that really makes this park stand out is the customer service. The people that run the park are so accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and had recommendations on places to see/go and helped with some issues we had with our trailer while we were there nothing to do with them or their park. What this park lacks in amenities, it makes up for through their customer service and the family that works here. There are plenty of grass areas to walk your dog as well which is nice. It is also located relatively close to a grocery store in town as well as the National Park. The wifi was great here as well! We work full time in our trailer during the day so internet is vital to us, and their internet was solid and one of the best we have used while on the road full time. We would recommend this park.
