All of the staff I dealt with were great!!! Sierra helped me with our reservations for our RV and my daughters and family group tent site which consisted of many questions on my part and she was very patient and friendly! Amber was very helpful at check-in with lots of information about the campground and things in the area including the shuttle to Hurricane Ridge! Brianna was very helpful in providing our daughters group tent site with an extra picnic table so all 9 of us could sit together to eat! Our RV site was just perfect along with the group tent site! The campground was unique and we absolutely loved everything about it from the outside grounds with several cool wood sculptures, fixtures and games/things to do, the clubhouse with frig, stove, oven, sink, dishes, silverware, places to sit and relax, cable TV, and several washers and dryers, the veggie/herb garden, the restrooms and the trail on the N/W side past the Office turnoff. Everything was kept very clean and inviting!
We loved this place so much we came back a second time in our trip. It’s a great location to explore everything the area has to offer. The staff was wonderful and they take such great care of the property. The little artisan bread oven is so charming! My favorite part was the community greenhouse/garden. They are kind enough it open it up to allow everyone to collect fresh greens and veggies. Being on the road, it’s not always easy to get fresh food so this was such a treat! We can’t wait to be back here!
We enjoyed our 5 day stay here. The campground is meticulously cared for. Very clean and very quiet. Our site was a fairly private one; even though we had neighbors on both sides, the shrubbery, etc. separated us and provided so much shade we didn’t use our awning. I think this was the widest site we’ve ever had. They have a garden you can pick from. We kept coming down to grab lettuce for sandwiches, and mint to add to our iced tea! The campground is super close to Olympic National Park, which made the perfect base camp. My only gripe is that the showers are coin-op. I’d much rather just have to cost of showers added to my site up front. Since we spent each day hiking/exploring, it was a little daunting to arrive back and try to wrangle quarters for a family of 4 every single day—quarters we often need to use for laundry as well. But the bathrooms are very clean probably cleaned more than once a day from the look of it, and this one grip hardly takes away from what is otherwise a top-tier campground. I highly recommend!
One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at to date and that's a lot! Beautifully kept, private sites, great hikes right from the campground, close to Olympic NP, staff were wonderful and helpful. A seemingly small thing, but meant a lot to us was the one sheet provided by the campground staff of nearby sights to see with mileage to each on one side and nearby breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurants, cafes, and wineries on the other. Wish this were more common! Can't wait to visit again.
Delightful little campground. lots of charm, near some nice little hiking trails. Close enough to town to pick up some more marshmallows, but far enough away to make it quiet and cozy. Our only mistake was not saying longer. Nearby activities: hiking
Sharing my experience with tent camping. The good: the level of service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gives a family run vibe however also in touch with technology as they sent text messages and emails with directions for arrival. They also had WiFi and provided a clear map of the park. The facilities were clean and they had coin operated laundry which was a plus. My stay was also pretty quiet which I liked and the location was great only about 10 minutes to town. Areas for improvement: this place is clearly more geared towards RVs and that’s totally fine, however since I was in a tent I felt that the spaces were extremely tight. Some seemed better than others but there was minimal privacy as compared to some other campgrounds I’ve been to. There must not have been more than 20 feet between my tent and my neighbor. They were also the furthest away from the bathroom there is only one bathroom location. There was a portapotty in the tent area but it looked like it only got serviced once a week from the service dates inside and it was pretty stinky. It would’ve been nicer if the tents were closer to the bathrooms since the RVs typically have one in their unit. Overall it was a nice place to stay for 2 nights.
We had a nice stay here. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are 1 1/2 minutes per quarter. There’s a cute hydroponic garden and games outside. A dishwashing sink. Many sites are crammed in. Very tight! Hence 4/5 stars. Some have trees and privacy. Great location. Lovely staff.Rooms: 4/5
Despite close spacing of sites, it doesn't feel that way because they are terraced into the hills. Nice amount of shade vs sun. Each sit has a picnic table & for pit. Sites near entrances have fencing to keep dust & headlight glare down!!!! Really well thought it. Great, clean laundry room with all working machines! Communal garden. Central play park area. Great access to Hurricane Ridge area. About 2 hrs from. Hoh Rain Forest area. Lots to see & do. Easy access to the Adventure Biking/hiking trail. Did I mention quiet? Well, it was. Would absolutely book again.
We spent 2 night here in June with our 27' Class C. We had a beautiful, wooded spot with water and electric hook ups. The folks that work here couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Great little camp store, lovely greenhouse and lawn games. We had a great time!Location: 5/5
Second time we have vusited this campground. We had to stay here again. Exceptional RV Park. Camping sites for tents, trailers, RVs and big rigs. Pleasant and friendly staff. Grounds are beautifully landscaped. Plenty to do in the area.Rooms: 5/5
