My experience with Dr Gretchen Gardner has been EXCEPTIONAL! I have been her patient for over 20 years. I trust her & admire her wisdom. Dr. Gardner is an exemplary doctor and human being, as well.
It had its ups and downs I figured I would give a good star review now this agency was one of the best ones I am surprised to see this place has a 2.5 star review: JFSA is way worse than Signature Health: Ohio Guidestones is even better than JFSA it was better after it merged from Connections to Signature Health I had good case managers and bad ones Melissa Poole was the worst case manager I have ever had and Sherri Roschian was the best!! I just don’t do counseling anymore because I don’t like to talk to people case management was better for me!! I felt Sherri and I had a great relationship and then she went on medical leave and I don’t know if she came back by now and I was worried I wasn’t going to have a good case manager after Sherri left
This was by far the most traumatic experience I have ever had with any healthcare facility. I had a phone appointment scheduled for a month away. When the day finally came, they never called. I waited an hour and then called them. They said they were running late to which I replied that I had to go into work so we ended up having to reschedule. Of course they didn't have any more appointments for another month but I just went with it and asked if it could be an in-person appointment. They assured me that it would, and when that day came I was escorted into the office and presented with an iPad stating that the doctor would video chat me she was literally sitting in her office a couple rooms over. I was surprised and angry as I had been promised an in-person appointment but didn't bring it up. After about 20 minutes of trying to get the iPad to work and failing, they directed me to a telephone after which I had to wait another 20 minutes for the doctor to call me. She interrogated me for a full HOUR with useless and repetitive questions, most of which I had already answered in my intake 2 months prior. I answered all of them and then tried telling her about my symptoms but she cut me off and offered a medication which I had already told her that I had tried previously and it didn't work for me. She suggested a higher dosage. I told her I didn't want to a higher dosage as that made me feel like a zombie to which she replied it's "oh that's probably because you used to do drugs". I said no I had been on that medication for 6 months without using any other drugs. She then tried offering me many other medications which I had already told her several times hadn't worked for me in the past. When I told her that I couldn't sleep due to my anxiety she again offered me many medications which I had already told her didn't work for me and then said in an extremely condescending tone "well you know what honey seems like you have bigger problems maybe you should see a sleep specialist". I felt extremely disregarded and disrespected throughout this entire exchange and actually had to hang up the phone and leave in middle of the appointment so that I wouldn't say something rude. Her name is Tiffany Jones and I plan on reporting her as well as your entire facility to the board of health.
Great place to work! Nurse Supervisor was kind, thoughtful, respectful and professional! Psychiatrist I worked with was very attentive to clients and made sure response was given within hours of phone call from clients! She was very smart and prescribed most prudent medications and went above and beyond for clients. Co-workers were very helpful and supportive!
If I could give this place negative stars I would. I went here to seek help via telehealth with a psychiatrist Tiffany Jones and my therapist whom I forgot the name of. Tiffany did not help me whatsoever. She was very dismissive of my concerns; she would give me generic advice " just eat less to lose weight" - it doesn't work like that when you're severely depressed. She didn't seem interested in helping me with my issues at hand, very dismissive, very nonchalant like she didn't even want to be there. I expressed my concerns about the medication she was giving me and the absolute horrible side effects it gave me. She kept trying every single anti-depressant she could get from the same family of medications after 4 of which didn't work at all. She didn't seem receptive about prescribing me from something from different med family group. Why did you bother studying medicine? If it was purely for the money, she should've chosen a different field of work, but I digress. My therapist often made everything about her, she mentioned once that her friend group told her this and somehow was still lacking that self-awareness during our sessions together. She gave me a lot of generic advice that you could get from a basic self-help book. She wasn't able to work with my work schedule. All in all, she wasn't a good therapist. Don't bother replying to me your same generic response about "feedback". We know you don't care.
My letter to the CEO about my experience with Dr. Tiffany Jones of Signature Health in Beachwood, OH. “I thank you so much for linking with me. I was hoping to share with you my very first experience with Signature Health today. I went to the Beachwood location and met with Dr. Tiffany Sherrae Jones, who by my research has been a Neurologist and Psychiatrist for nearly 15 years so I assume she knows her field of study pretty well. I had anticipated this appointment. My doctor quit his practice, so I waited months and drove 40 minutes to see Dr. Jones. I had a delightful talk with Jessica the nurse while I waited for the doctor, until I was put on a virtual chat with Dr. Jones who was very late, arrogant, dismissive and extremely abusive in her care manner. She made it known that she had another appointment to get to within the first three minutes of our conversation, showing me that she had no intention of understanding who I was or what I needed. I have a combination of ADD/ADHD. So when I get nervous It is very difficult for me to speak, let alone piece together in conversation a complete thought as I tried to answer her questions. The stigma attached to my diagnosis alone makes it incredibly hard to be listened to, especially when you can’t get the person you are speaking with to stop berating you. She stepped on just about everything I had to say, raising her voice with a cold flat tone when I was unable to get to the point, because I was stuttering from stress. I verbally told her at least three times that she was upsetting me, causing me anxiety, while placing my hand on my chest to add emphasis to the upset she was causing with her behavior. Each time I expressed that I was overwhelmed, because of what she was doing, she responded using phrases to let me know that it was my fault fyi people with ADHD self-deprecate enough-add that to the current emotion in the situation. Phrases like “WELL YOUR’E NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS; THAT’S NOT WHAT I ASKED YOU” angrily and cold, scolding as if I was a battered child trying to explain my way out of a corner. In her position of authority, I was vulnerable. What she did with her power, was abusive. I am a teacher, I am a mother and I am a logical, human being. I have also worked in the medical field and taken care of people who were vulnerable as well. I am 37 years old and I have had ADHD my entire life, yet have never been pressured this recklessly by a care provider. I thank God in Heaven, that I do not have severe mental issues and am not suicidal. I had to remove myself from the room and walk out of the appointment. I held my composure leaving, but what she did was borderline abusive. She battered someone that she knows by profession, could not defend herself in the moment. I just needed to make sure I made this clear to someone who would understand the gravity of what happened. Thank you very much…. Hi Jonathan, a nice woman by the name of Shayla from Client Services reached out to apologize profusely about my experience with this doctor. I appreciate her candor. However, I am troubled at the thought of Dr. Jones being able to intimidate/bully/psychologically abuse another patient. “
Started off good. Not anymore. Reschedule after reschedule after reschedule. Canceling appointments. Multitasking during virtual or phone appointments. My counselor missed 2 months worth of appointments 8 appointments and when I finally got a hold of Chadwick, he says- my bad. I forgot. Fine. We speak fo 2 weeks in a row, haven’t heard from him since. Finally I call and call and he says, my bad. Thanks for your patience. It’s hard to get help from anywhere these days. What is the world coming to? Can’t trust anyone. Danielle was another one. Cancel and cancel My child’s appointments or either an hour late each time and appointment lasts 10min. Terrible place especially if you NEED help. Sick. Next doctor, same thing. Then asks the patient, where have you been? Ma’am, we have been waiting on you. Terrible. Counselor Andrew is consistent and we appreciate him. But danielle, Amanda and Chadwick have been a nightmare. Horrific.
Received my Covid vaccine from here in early 2021, that was fine no issues. I misplaced my Covid card yes I know my fault but I emailed Medical records for a new one, got back a response they couldn’t even find me in their records but would have a supervisor contact me after the weekend. Six days later they email me and ask what other name I would be under they can’t find me in Ohio records. So I went to the health department and got a new card under the same name I gave them and had zero issues. It’s ridiculous i have to jump through hoops for my own medical records and concerning I’m just nowhere to be found.
I was told the appointment was a phone call when I noticed it was Telehealth appointment after a few minutes I clicked in. When I clicked in I waited and no one said anything so I asked about the appointment I was told I had to reschedule. I was only late cause I thought it was a phone call. They also try to pass nurse practitioner off as psychiatrists
I have been hospitalized at cleveland clinic and i had my follow up appointment here with Kelly, I expressed to her about my previous diagnosis of ADHD and what steps needed to be taken to get back on the meds I was completely disregarded. I feel as if me as a WOC was not heard about my mental health. very disheartening
