Conway Lakes Health & Rehabilitation Center

My husband had total knee replacement & was transported here from the hospital. I really can’t say enough about this place. The staff is AWESOME!! Their professionalism & level of care is EXCELLENT!! They’re always smiling, you NEVER have wait a long time for someone to come when called, the food is good, they keep the place very clean, the waiting areas are nicely furnished & the gardens are beautiful! I would recommend this place to anyone, what a great experience!

My husband was there for three days and I had to tell the nurse to have him transferred to the hospital. Because he was way out of it and dehydrated bad. My husband said he fell out of the bed and landed on the left side. He was in excruciating pain. Of course they denied anything happened. The Er doctors said they believed my husband. He was in there to get rehab from a hip surgery on the right side. He is a veteran and partly paralyzed on the right side.

I was searching for a facility for my grandmother who recently had hip replacement surgery. The admissions specialist, Jamie, was extremely helpful and informative. She made sure the transition for my grandmother was seamless and comfortable. The care Conway gave was everything my grandmother needed and now she’s home after a full recovery and is back in her garden. We are so blessed for Conway’s professionalism, care, and comfort. Highly recommend!!

My grandpa needed so much help after having a stroke. When he got to Conway, we were unsure that he would be able to go back to do things on his own. Conway Lakes nursing and rehab team did so excellent in helping him meet his goals to be able to live independently and do things that are meaningful to him. I am so grateful. I wish family members that care about their loved ones will know how great Conway nursing and rehab center in helping their patients reach their full potential. Thank you so much.

The staff at Conway Lakes have been great to my friend during her stay at the facility. Her family lives out of state. She stated that the care she received was wonderful, the nurses treated her like their mom. She highly recommends this facility. best regard MS Irma

In 2021 my mother was transferred here for rehab after hip surgery. She was given very little care- she had mild dementia and would have to beg to be assisted to the bathroom- several times she called family because no one would take her, we could hear her ask for help & get an answer like “I’ll tell your nurse” but no one would come. This happened multiple times. Family would call up there and the phone would ring 30 times with no answer- it was during the pandemic so visitation was limited to outside the facility, so they had no eyes watching their negligence. She declined so absolutely that we ultimately demanded she be released into our care and she left Conway Lakes on oxygen, in a wheelchair, in my car. We moved her into assisted living and put her on hospice. Within 2 weeks she was walking, totally off of oxygen, and doing well! We terminated hospice and got her rehab visits -and now, 19 months later she is still alive, content, and doing well at 94. It has taken me a long time to write a review because the lack of care at Conway Lakes was horrific and traumatic for the family and for her. She still remembers “that awful place” which makes my heart break, that even with memory loss-that one remains. There were some individual staff that were good at Conway Lakes, like a nurse or two & PT staff and activity personnel - but because they were so overwhelmed could not care for the patients. Please beware.

My Mom was at this facility for about 15 days, and from her experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. My mother is on a gluten-free diet, and they could not get her dietary needs correct During her whole stay. Thankfully my father and I live five minutes away and were able to bring her what she needed. Then there was the nurses aides, Whose Attentiveness was next to none. My mother waited over an hour and a half for someone to help her to the bathroom. The best part was the staff in the physical therapy area. I’m thankful she’s home and continuing her physical therapy, but as far as all other aspects of this facility, I would look elsewhere for better care.

I love the therapy. team, very good efforts with mom. The admissions team was great, both Jamie and Maiara helped with moms transition. if we ever have to go back we will choose Conway again. Thanks

This place is the worse facility! The nursing staff takes 60-95 minutes to come into the room to assist the patients. Beds are broken and mattress have mold on them. The restroom toilet in the pts room had poop around the rim for over three days! The management team take it offensive when you voice your concerns. Your job as a facility like this is to care for your patients and make them comfortable and support the family, not to have the family there to do the cleaning and change of bed sheets. And when you voice your concerns to the AJ the manager, he states that you are yelling at him!!!

Terrible place. They left my grandma in her urine for over 8 hours. My grandma also has an eating problem where she cant eat her food fast, but here if she doesnt eat her food within 30 minutes they take it away. Seeing my grandma in this state has me very upset. She has lost weight, is very weak because she hasnt ate properly, and overall not doing well. I tried speaking to a manager or one of the nurses and they are nowhere to be found. The owner or director could care less about their patients as well. If you want good care for your family please find elsewhere to go. Anywhere except here is better.
