The Cook County Sheriff's Memorial Foundation (CCSMF) was established to honor sworn and civilian members of the Cook County Sheriff's Office, both past and present. The foundation's mission is to provide continued support to the surviving family members of sworn officers killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty while serving the communities of Cook County. CCSMF is a federally recognized 501c3, with a Board of Directors that are retirees with vast experience across the Sheriff's Office, including the former Chief of the Sheriff's Police Department, Executive Directors and Executive Staff from the Department of Corrections, the Director of the Sheriff's Training Academy, and the Assistant Chief from the Court Services Department.
