Beautiful place. Great history of Alder Cook. The grounds and roses were beautiful. Very nice park in the middle of Libertyville IL Very nice downtown area with restaurants and shops. Busy downtown for a Monday night.
We volunteered for the Dog Days of Libertyville, and it was amazing. The number of vendors was astounding, and it was all for dogs! Bravo Libertyville
A lovely park with a rose garden that blooms all summer. There's some beautiful mature trees that provide shade, worth lots of metal benches so you can take a load off and enjoy the scenery. There's also a nice playground just off the green to keep the kiddos entertained. There are a number of eateries nearby, but the new ice cream parlor, Sugarville, is the perfect place to grab up a sweet pick-me-up.
Cook Park always got something going on check your calendar so you know what to do that day beautiful just beautiful
The quintessential town square that time forgot. It feels like walking into The Music Man or something similar. Absolutely charming and meticulously maintained. Just gorgeous.
Libertyville Days! Excellent! We always have fun, eat and dance.
Needed to kill time before a train, so my friend and I had an impromptu fall themed photo session at this picturesque park. Hardly anyone was around on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to get excellent tree photos with the historic buildings in the background. There are many park benches to sit at, and picnic tables as well, so it's a great place to relax. Not too close to the main road so the noise isn't bad.
Wonderful fr ages 5-12 no playground for under 5. But the library has lots of coolstuff for kids of all ages right next to the park
Great park with a ROSE GARDEN, children playing area, great for picnics also one of Libertyville oldest land mark home of LIBERTYVILLE DAYS and FARMERS MARKET on Thursday's during the summer with lot of restaurant a few step away.
Nice little park right in middle of Libertyville downtown. Plenty of trees, beautiful flowers and benches to sit.
