I recently had my first appointment, and thought after reading all these reviews I would be waiting for a long period before being seen. But NO, wait was reasonable, staff was pleasant and professional. Doctor was great he listened to my concerns and the follow up calls, appointments and all needed has been great I wanted to make sure I do share my great experience with this Doctor.
Very nice doctor. Terrible office management. Had to wait over an hour to be rushed out at the end of the day with a terminally Ill cancer patient. They make their patients wait in their cars or in the building lobby. Make an appointment somewhere else if you can.
Rescheduled my mothers first appointment twice never even got in the office extremely unprofessional
I work for a primary care Doctor and our office referred a lot of patients to Dr. Cordero. I tried to make appt. for my grand mother, she cannot walk by herself, the staff told me that I can't go with her to the appt. with a really bad attitude, I explain the situation to the lady and she don't even care to loose a patient. She doesn't tried to help with the situation. I'll never recommend nobody else to this doctor. I hope I can give less than one star.
Where do I start? If you have an appointment with this doctor run! I've never met a doctor that is not compassionate about a his patients. On top of that you have to sit and wait 3 hours in the waiting room to see him. Once they bring you in a room you have to wait one more hour to see him for like 5 minutes. So, that's four hours you lost of your day. My first impression of him was not a good one I felt that being a doctor to him is just a "job" that gets him paid. A good doctor is one who cares about his patients problems and finds a way to comfort them and explains to them the situation, someone who is well spoken and makes you feel like you are in good hands. Someone you trust because basically you are putting your life in his hands to do your surgery. A good first impression is the one that counts.
I had to go to Trinitas Hospital emergency room due to my gallbladder. He saw me was very professional and compassionate. The next day I had my gallbladder removed and I woke up feeling better, in pain of course. But I highly recommend this doctor. This was my first time seeing him and I look forward to seeing him again for my follow up.
Horrible office staff, rude over the phone, extremely unprofessional. They give you an appointment for a set hour, but yet you have wait over 2 hours to be seen by the doctor. Do yourself a favor and find a new doctor. Don’t know how he is still in business. I wonder how many malpractice cases he has.
Unprofessional and incompetent. I Called in April to schedule an appointment for a small surgery and they told me they only had May 17 available so I said that’s fine. The front desk staff told me that it will be a two hour wait be seen and then she took my insurance information and told me she would mail out some paperwork and to make sure that I sent it back Immediately Because if not I wouldn’t be able to have the surgery done. Once I received the paperwork ,I did fill it out and return it. So yesterday the day of my appointment I waited 3 1/2 hours before I was called in. The physician assistant told me that the doctor had an emergency to take care of a client so that’s why he was running behind. Never received an apology From Dr. Cordero ,he came in took a look at my small cyst and said yes we can remove that we just have to numb the area and then remove it then he started walking out the door and said but not today because we have to get approval from your insurance first. I then said confused I thought this was my appointment to get the surgery done I waited here for 3 1/2 hours somebody upfront couldn’t tell me this because I wasted my time sitting here for 3 1/2 hours and he just said yeah we just can’t do it without the approval of the insurance. I have never had such a unprofessional experience with a doctor in my life I don’t think that was a valid reason to have me sit there for 3 1/2 hours When I could’ve been doing more important things that day. I advise anyone thinking about coming here to go somewhere else because no one should ever be treated this way especially when your insurance is paying a doctor.
Having to wait two or three hours to see this doctor is torture. Why give someone an appointment at 5:00 pm if you won’t be seeing them until 7:30-8:00. Horrible customer experience. Even for surgery programed for 5:00 and even that had to wait until 7:30. Find yourself another doctor.
Waited 4 hrs. All the time in pain. Why make an appointment at all??? But if you don't show up for your appointment, you'll be charged. Nobody has time for this place!! Don't know how he's still in business, after reading all these reviews. Wish I had read them first! He should go to Haiti and work over there. Seems to care more about them. Well anyway after 4 hrs. I said I'm out of here. Could just imagine how many patients this doctor has lost. Very sad!!
