Inpatient Services
Inpatient services include acute rehabilitation, nursing care and medical management for patients suffering functional deficits resulting from illness or injury such as the following:

• Stroke (CVA)
• Spinal cord injury
• Amputation
• Major multiple trauma
• Fracture of femur • Brain injury
• Neurological disorders
• Active polyarthritis or severe or
advanced osteoarthritis
• Knee and/or hip joint replacement
• Orthopedic dysfunction

This rehab hospital is one of the best I have been sent to. Attentive OT and PT staff. Nurses are very caring and are there to take care of your needs. The facility is very clean and secure. The only reason that I did not give it a five star rating is for their dialysis policy. Work on that and it would be 5 star facility. Thanks for making my stay great.

I just spent 14 days in this rehab. I have to say the physical therapy and occupational are the best I have ever wished with.  Both therapist are into helping you.  You as a person.!! They listen to what you  need and how your feeling to make it work for you.  The nursing staff are wonderful people.  They are happy to help you and they are encouraging as you make progress. The RN staff are so caring and are there to help you manage your pain.  The case workers do everything for you so when you go home you can feel comfortable knowing you will have follow up care.. Overall I loved the  my stay there.  They are a group of people all willing to help you get better.

My Mother suffered a severe stroke in 2000 and was recommended to this location for rehabilitation she was there four days and out of the four days they let her fall out of the wheelchair and the bed three times leaving bruises scratches and torn clothes.. no one excepted responsibility for the negligence!! they have deleted my review and the pictures I have posted. My mom is such a loving caring good hearted person and would never have treated anyone the way she was treated in this facility it’s really heartbreaking. they told us that she was one that slipped through the cracks. wow so they do not specialized in patients that have had A massive stroke. and this was all around the time of Thanksgiving and Christmas it was such a devastating time in my life.

The staff here are truly amazing. They are patient and caring while helping work through rehab from a stroke. The food was better than most and the rooms have their own temperature control.

Overall I am happy with this facility. The therapy staff were the shining stars! They were kind, professional, and sweet with the patients. I can’t say enough great things about them. The cafeteria staff cared about what foods my mother liked and were also very attentive. The nurse aides and nurses were also nice and caring. The only dissatisfaction I had was with one RN who didn’t seem to understand the care dementia patients require and the case manager who did very little to communicate with me. It wasn’t until I contacted the medical & nursing directors that I got information. As a healthcare professional myself, I know & understand the system and still had to fight to get heard. Unacceptable in my opinion. But the facility is clean, patients are cared for pretty well, and most of the staff are good.

I am very disappointed with the services of the night PCT Anna who pretends to work hard but never give me a good service. I kept asking her to make my bed because the PD nurse is going to connect my catheter, and you know what she did? Anna waited for the PD nurse to make my bed! That PD nurse doesn't even work at that hospital and did Anna's PCT job. Is that right? I don't think so!! And during my admission, one of the nurse ask Anna to clean me up real well and give a partial bath, but she didn't do it!! And yet everyone would say she's doing a great job but she is not. Also she talks too loud in front of my door at night Anna doesn't deserve to work in that hospital. She is very disrespectful with a lot of patients. She needs to be fired

In the past year, I have been a patient at corpus Christi rehab five times I would still stay an average of 14 days on each visit. My last visit I had a confrontation with one of the CNAs that helped I left my room and I had a I left my tablet there with motion activated camera he came in my room to change my bed and went through the nightstand going through all my personal items I showed the video to the director there and nothing was done about it I left the hospital on a Friday my friend came to pick me up we accidentally left without taking my wheelchair we came back I called and said I forgot my wheelchair the charge nurse brought it out put it in the back of the truck and we left about a month and a half later I was in need of going back there for some more rehab and the liaison from Bay area hospital told me that they refused they were refusing to accept me because I stole a wheelchair from them. Attempted to contact them to resolve the matter because I did not steal their wheelchair but they've done nothing other than send me a bill

The care I received here at Corpus Christi Rehabilitation Hospital was outstanding!!! I have been here twice and would recommend to everyone for all of their rehabilitation needs. They have very skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapists here that will help well on your way to recovery!!! They're the BEST!!! I absolutely LOVE them!!!!

Front desk receptionist Nicholas was awesome! Very professional and he made feel right at home. We drove from Houston Texas to see my great uncle here. Oh! Thank you for the cup of coffee!!

I was in a situation where I was being manipulated by Hospital staff to go to another rehab. I told my sister-in-law that we needed to find the very best rehab in Corpus and I needed to go to it. It was taking every ounce of strength I had to try to maintain my life. I did not think I was strong enough to go home and care for myself. CC Rehab was recommended. Sure enough, a representative from CC Rehab came by my hospital room. Mando. He said they were the best. I double checked to see if he was from CC Rehab. I was transferred that day, and the healing began. I stayed about a week, not 2 weeks as originally thought. I love this place! They are tough on you, but it's all for your own good. I could not have recovered without them. And Mando was right. They have the best food.
