A nice variety of unique snacks from around the World. They've got everything from crickets, soda, syrups, candy, baking mixes and etcetera. There's always something new to try. The customer service is definitely a hit or miss, depending on the employee. Noone offers assistance or wants to be bothered, but there's always one particular male worker that follows us around the store. Go figure. Overall, there's something for everyone and lots of delicious options.
Years ago, I used to go here and the Menomonee Falls location to play a hidden object game for a $100 gift card before my birthday. However, some spoiled rich kid ended up winning the $100, and I was left with $10. Some of the white store employees were rigging the game while I was there, because I was a person of color. And then, they also thought that I was excited about winning the prize I wasn't, at all and told me to calm down in front of customers in the store I'm not a hyper person, at all. I am very tranquil and polite. So embarrassing. Anyway, this was the actual reason why I stopped going to this store, as of now.‍
Very frustrating experience with World Market. Ordered online some chairs but tried to cancel the next morning literally less than 12 hours when the status was still "label printed" as the store told me they would be able to order them for us for 15% off and free shipping. The customer service line told us they'd cancel our order once it was rerouted to the warehouse. We kept calling since we kept getting shipping updates and they assured us it was being rerouted. Low and behold they shipped to our house. Now I have to fit 3 giant chair boxes into our car and return to the store. Customer service told us the store would be able to give us a full return including shipping. However, once we got to the store, the store manager told us we wouldn't get the shipping fee returned and since the tax is different between our house and their store, we wouldn't get that back either ~$65. I told her that's not what customer service told us and she said thats not her problem. She had a terrible attitude the whole time, making huffing sounds and cutting me off and full on telling me to stop talking when I tried to explain what happened. She literally seemed more agitated with having to deal with our return than I was, and shes getting paid to be there, whereas I'm using my free time, gas and energy to return chairs that shouldn't have been shipped in the first place. Overall the two chairs that we did keep we love, and most of the in store representatives were great; but the store manager was incredibly rude and the overall online experience is something that makes me skeptical to ever shop at World Market altogether
Clean, organized. polite workers. A good place to shop if you are looking for plant hangers. They had several styles to choose from.
This shop brings the magic of the world that melts your heart. Lots of styles of gingerbread houses including Frosen 2 @ only 10.99. If you hadn't had a Fresh Stolen you'll be able to get one here in multiple sizes and one that fits into a St. Nick stocking. Lots of Advent calendars in different shapes and sizes, even Twelve Days of Christmas that you can put together yourself and insert your own little gifts. The Isles are wide and easy-to-navigate. The staff is very helpful and kind. You don't see them on cell phones!!! They are sticking shelves while always making loops around the store to ask if you need assistance. The store also has Silly gifts make 99 cans of beer on the wall which contains 99 cans and a shelf. Beers wine and liquor from all over the world. And if you're into whiskey there's all sorts of food gifts by Jack Daniels and other major brands.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Walked on Saturday evening, was never acknowledged by a sales associate who went out of his way to ignore me. Then saw 2 more staff who never spoke but looked like my presence annoyed them. Just moved here from DC and love World Market stores back home. Will not EVER visit this location again. You are the WORST!
We came in to get specific chocolate chips. While we did not find the item we were looking for, we came home with a bounty of delicious snacks.
This is my favorite store. I stress shop...joy shop...everything shop here. If I'm having a bad day this store fixes it. It's 20 min away from me and always worth the drive. I love the international aspect. They always have fun stuff in the store...youbcsn find something you like here. I buy a variety of things here but recently bought somethings to supplement my cookie exchange and cocoa party.
I love World Market! I visit here to buy Australian chocolate and biscuits and Asian noodles. There are so many cool things to buy here besides food too!
We spent $800+ on a table that was damaged. We were told it was not necessary to box it back up to bring it back it was snowing outside when this was said. My husband gets there to return it and Heather will not refund our money due to it having snow on the underside makes sense since it was snowing. After a huge inconvenience of getting and assembling a damaged table, we had to leave the store without our table and without our refund. This store only cares about being able to resell their damaged products rather than taking care of their customers.
