I love the variety of produce, the quality children's books, and affordable work appropriate tops! Grab some samples Check out the amazing selection of dips, ready to go meals, and wine. They have the best and biggest cheesecake in town.
I mean what is there bad to say about Costco? We have been shopping here for over 20 years when we became members living in Kirkland, WA. Costco got us through raising our hungry teenagers, and so many football dinners, weeks of feeding 150 kids at summer youth camps, and too many more events to name. We don't necessarily ever spend significantly less, but we can always count on the quality.
Always wonderful employees. Love the new food court with kiosk ordering as it's very fast, but not as friendly as it was before. I also like the new self-checkout idea, but the process needs quite a bit of quirk at it is WAY too clunky and not intuitive
I went with my dad to see if I wanted to get a membership card and to get three things. However I felt harassed by the end of it. we all know you show the card to get in but when we went to self checkout they wouldn’t leave us alone. the girl made my dad show his card again to get to check out and same thing from another woman who came out of no where. I was already scanning when the woman start telling me how to do things and it confused me. then I sat down a bag of chicken and then everything and everyone starting going crazy talking over each other. it was like they where ready for us to take something or to have a problem. I literally put my hands up and stepped back as she continued to go through our stuff even tho I was clearly upset by the intrusion. Only after she had finished ringing everything up and after she felt comfortable that everything was paid for she completely walked away and no longer helped my 80 year old dad so it just showed why she was in our face. That was far to much for a self check out. I never asked for help to begin with and to show a card to every staff member is Pugnacious And Obnoxious. I will not be getting a card if I have to be harassed like that. The new renovation layout was nice though lol
You better stick your Costco card to your forehead since you will be asked for your card many times almost like going through airport security. They have so many folks to check your card but not as many to really help customers. Also products are not that at less cost than competitors. Other than meat and produce I would rather buy it from Amazon and Walmart
good prices and contains a gender neutral bathroom. saw someone buy over 10 giant bags of ice and nothing has else. had the $1.50 hot dog. it was a transcendental experience
While checking out today the gentleman manning the self checkout asked my husband to see his card to make sure it was really him. Once he checked he said thanks we're going back to our old policy of making sure people are really using their own cards. Ok cool. But then we watched several other people come through and not one was asked for proof. Is it because my husband was brown? What is wrong with people anymore? So uncalled for.
Good prices, huge quiet parking lot, thanks Costco
My partner and I have been thinking about getting a Costco membership for a few months now. We’ve never had a membership there, so today we thought we would come in to ask about doing a tour of the store so we could get an idea of if it would be worth it for us. We had heard that the Costco food court is open to non-members and decided we would ask if we could check that out before talking to someone about a tour. We asked the greeter at the front about the food court and he let us no they no longer allow non-members into the food court. That is totally fine as I understand policies can change- however, when I told him I would like to ask about a tour of the store, he proceeded to accuse my partner and I of wanting to just sneak into the food court and “get him in trouble.” This felt uncalled for, and honestly I felt like we were being accused of this because we are a younger couple. Despite the rude comment, I proceeded to go to the membership desk to ask about a tour. I spoke with a brunette woman who quickly shot me down and told me they don’t do tours quite a condescending tone. She didn’t offer any other help. To be honest, it didn’t seem like she wanted me to become a member at this store, and I feel extremely turned off by Costco now. I genuinely wanted to inquire about a membership, but I’m trusting my gut in this one. The bad vibes will be sending me elsewhere.
They always have courteous, friendly, enthusiastic employees whether in checkout or at customer service desk. Although I didn't ask for help, one employee sought me out in the parking lot and helped me load a few bulky items which made it way easier on me. I appreciate the extra effort in customer service that this Costco has.
