Costco Newmarket

I wrote a review 4 months ago and same problems exists. As you can see some of the carts is missing the plastic cover over the push bar. There are shortages of carts. I had to wait 15 minutes to get a cart and today was not a busy day. Yet so many of the carts are scattered around the cash area being used for returned merchandise or blocking the closed cash. A new manager with a more customer service mind is needed for this store. There are many negative reviews and no one cares to read and reply to them!

I was forced to put one star but the store does not even deserve this. Just left Costco on Saturday morning at 930am today. Long check out line for 915am but that’s fine I persevered on. Then to exit the store was so disappointing - the line had at least 30 ppl with only one person checking the cart. I asked an employee by the name of aspen to get her some help he said let me see . I said I appreciate it. No one came to help out so clearly he did nothing. I asked the check out lady why didn’t you ask for help you can see the line is long her response classic “ they usually send someone” which I responded with “ how about being proactive”. Customer service was a -10 today.

I've been a Costco member for a few years. I've been using it to shop for basics. Items where the uantities are justified. I love the fact that these stores are all laid out in a similar fashion, making shopping fairly easy. Avoid this place on the weekend, if possible

Always like going to Costco. Friendly staff. Asked the pharmacy clerk if a particular product was available but unfortunately not, they were clearly busy but they were still professional and kind, and took time to tend to my question. Well done.

Came in looking for blackout curtain and rods that are on special, Margaret L was able to help us find the colour we were looking for, she was very cheerful and helpful, great customer service who goes above and beyond!! Thank you

Beside it is Costco and Costco is great. This location has not the best staff and attitude could be better. Ones asked display girl to move for a sec to get to the freezer she was blocking. she gave me hard time.... why? a lot of staff are bossing around like country style. do not appreciate it at all. It is not friendliness and helpfulness. it is being rude. Markham west staff are more professional. go Newmarket sometimes because it is not so crowded and it is Costco anyway...

Been coming to this location since 2008. My daughter always used to come with me and her and I LOVE Greg. He used to work at the door checking the receipts but now works at the gas station. He is such a sweet and wonderful person. SO much personality. We also like Norm in the Electronics. Another wonderful Employee to deal with. I think both Greg and Norm deserve to be recognized. I think this Costco needs donations to improve their customer care. Here is the condition of their carts. Short of them too! See photos . Very busy location , so their income is good! One of the wheels was crooked too.

Always a very busy location, but the staff keep things very organized and well stocked. Generally going around 10am on a weekday is the best for the least amount of people, including the return line. They have self check out at this location as well as many belts. The cafeteria is quick and consistent with quality.

Nice spot to get in and out of town, lots of places to park and decent prices. Always got to hit up sample day. Got me into a couple food I didn't think I would try. Hopefully they keep the prices down, it's getting close to buying smaller packs and smaller portion pricing on some items. Otherwise literally more then you would ever need at these stores!
