We booked a stay for the weekend so that my wife and daughters could visit the cabbage patch baby land 10 minutes away. Needless to say, the pool was the only amenity worth using. My son and I wanted to go horseback riding, but apparently you have to book that days in advance. Our condo was outdated by 30 years. The carpet and upholstery was dingy. Had to wear shoes around the place to keep our feet from being dirty. Didn't sleep well on the mattresses or the sleeper sofa. The instructions for checking out were to start the dishwasher, take out the trash, place bed linens and towels in kitchen floor, and put furniture back in place if we moved it. It's the first time I've ever paid to be housekeeping where I stayed! I'm still waiting to get my deposit back...if I get it back!
We had a great time! And all employees were as nice as possible. I gave 3 stars, because, we went to play miniature golf, it could've been cleaner! And it also smells like sewage! We couldn't finish one game. The hot tub was out of service. Also, the security building at the gate, looks terrible!! Rooms: Our condominium was amazing!
I booked this for the Christmas weekend. I bought wristbands for the amenities. I did all this back in November. They sold me wrist bands to the indoor pool, arcade, etc. come the day before check in I see online all those activities were closed for our stay. So I have to call them to see what’s going on. They tell me yes it’s all closed for the holiday. Mind you I have 3 kids. the ONLY reason we booked there was for the amenities. they refunded my passes but REFUSED to refund my stay. Needless to say they didn’t tell us these things were closed until I called back last minute after seeing it online. they expected me and my family to still stay there with absolutely nothing to do for Christmas Eve & Christmas. We did not go because of this and now we are out $455 for a stay we didn’t even use. I’m very disappointed and will NEVER stay here.
I don’t recommend because I stayed 5 days never cleaned and changed towels.the lady works in the pool,sauna and gym no friendly.the employees work dinner room is friendly thanks .my grandson said mima doesn’t like lady work in pools never said good morning please the pass Noteworthy details: Dinner room employees are friendly and professional thanks
This place was very clean and peaceful, I’ll give it that. The mattresses are very uncomfortable and do not count on the sofa bed, it is impossible to sleep on. The style of the resort is very pretty but they do need to update their mattresses. We went to check out their indoor pool, but unfortunately weren’t there for long because we basically got kicked out because my little brother and cousin weren’t wearing “appropriate” clothing, which is ABSURD. I don’t see how clothing can affect the well being of others, and I feel like not everyone is comfortable wearing swim wear, so you shouldn’t be forced to. I think it’s unfortunate how the lady had to send security over to tell us to get out, yet he couldn’t go over to help us with our car battery lol. It’s the way she handled the situation that made me very upset. The next day my mother went but wasn’t there long either because they closed the pool at 6. Beside that bad experience, the view is nice, I think this is a good place for a family trip.
This place needs a major upgrade. I have been coming here for over 30 years and most of the furniture is the same. The beds are uncomfortable had 2 encasements and a flat sheet. The mattresses are old and worn. There was no fitted sheet and pillow cases and we had to request them.. the tub wasn't cleaned it was rinsed. We witnessed children who were in the building to the right of us belting out racial slurs of the n word to each other which were highly offensive. Of course nothing was done about it but we know it would have had the shoe been on the other foot. The blankets had holes in them. The dishwasher didn't cycle through and crumbs came out of the sofa while we were getting the sofa bed prepared for the kids. If I could rate a 0 I would.
The resort is a little outdated but relaxing. The service was nice. Great views of lake and mountains. The down side is the activities is not handled through them and those people are rude. There were several activities unavailable and they had time limits on them for cleaning, however I saw no cleaning when they were closed. They did not adjust the price which was outrageous. Left several messages for manager of activities to call, this is day 5 and still have not heard from her. Went to see her twice and she was unavailable.
It has been 6 days since I have attempted to get my money back from this establishment. I have now filed a formal complaint with my bank, the state of GA, the BBB, & social media that has over 20K views. Are you ready to refund what you owe me now?Rooms: 1/5
My son took my 2 grandsons, and myself, for the weekend. We vacation together a lot, and I can truly say, there wasn't a time, when my grandsons were bored! There is so much to see and do. The condo was decorated as old country, and I loved it! It reminded me of when I was growing up. We will definitely go back!!Rooms: 5/5
Very nice 2 bedroom apartments. The resort was clean. Activities, never got to do any. But, the experience was great. Nice and peaceful swinging on porch.
