County of Orange

I have been wanting to leave this review for a while, but I have been extremely busy. Ms. Dawn was absolutely sweet, professional, patient, informative, and calm during the huge roar of the crowd. So far all the ladies I met here have been extremely sweet!

This place is terrible. They never answer the phone. They assign me a worker that's out of the office all month apparently. They only give me $90 for the whole month for general relief. Management talks to you with an attitude and disrespectful. Thought this place was supposed to help. To be honest it causes more problems than helping. They make you jump thru hoops and do so much foot work and countless documents for a few dollars. I am going to lose everything because they can't give me more than $90 for the month. How can I pay anything with this? They pick and choose who they like to help. I know other people got more money and help. But of course I get the crumbs left behind. I don't understand how one can survive in california on $90 a month. I am disabled and disability takes months to get approved.

I’ve been trying for Orange County to stop renewing my benefits since last December. I’ve called waiting for hours so many times! They say they will do it, everything seems to go along fine, then I receive a notice of action for medical approval from them. It has been insanely inconvenient and annoying. I moved away a long time ago and because of them my insurance keeps rejecting me!!!!! Ugh!!!!!! I’ve had medical needs I can’t get checked on because of them. I’ve talked to so many people it is absolutely absurd. I loath Orange County medical with a passion. I know it’s a strong word but I do, their service blows.

At first I had to deal with the incredibly annoying and frustrating robot, as well as the incredible wait times, but that all ended when I was finally connected with a worker! Elizabeth worker number g3jh was an absolute angel and hands down the best social worker I’ve talked to. I hope her genuine care for her community does not go unrecognized.

Filled. Packed. Depending on the time of day, can get crowded. But quick, straight to business. However, if you do have anxiety or don't handle being around many people. It can feel heavy. Take a breather outside. Don't be afraid to approach a SS worker and let them know. They're happy to assist.

I went with my dad to change my Medical status but the guy on the was gloomy, not welcoming and a little bit unfriendly. I asked to speak with a manager, i was lucky to meet Ms. Shmika Johnson who was super helpful and welcoming. She referred us to Ms. Joi Johnsonwho went beyond her duties to help . Thank you so w. Thank you for Maria Heminz who was super nice.

The system asked me to wait 38 to return my phone call. I have been waiting for approximately 2 hours, and I know, they are not going to answer. Besides, many workers and other employees are RUDE!

They do their best to get everyone what they need. Just gets over crowded and lots of rude people in the lobby. Sheriffs very visible and on top of things.

A very crowded and disorganized place. The staff treats them badly. I do not recommend coming to this branch
