This office is one of the best Medical teams in Tucson. Dr Courtney snd her staff are very professional helpful and full of knowledge. I was in for a follow up. Appointment. Review of tests that were completed. She explained the results and made me feel comfortable. They also had given me a different time to come. The staff is professional nice group. I highly recommend the office. They have X-ray. As well as a lab on premise.
I really so enjoy coming to this practice. It’s 40 minutes from my house but I think the drive is worth it everytime for the level of care I receive here. Their waiting room is clean and comfy. The staff is very polite and friendly, and each provider I’ve seen from here was very compassionate and knowledgeable.
I came to Dr. Courtney after experiencing medical abuse and neglect from my primary care provider. I stated this fact at the very beginning of the appointment, and went on to say that as a result of the neglect, there were a lot of things I needed done medically. She responded that these were "demands" and it was "awkward" that I wanted to be involved in my care. She was so abrasive that my medical advocate started to pack up after 15 minutes, and Dr. Courtney actually called her out on it, then asked if she was recording. The only reason I didn't leave then is because she reeled me back in by agreeing to some of the testing that I actually needed. She also defended my pain clinic treating me in half-measures and prescribing me opiates, but not at a level where I could function, without knowing the situation at all. I reiterated at one point the medical abuse I experienced and she replied in the most flat, disaffected tone ever that what I went through is terrible, and other such platitudes, but nothing about her behavior changed. The techs are lovely people, and the in-house diagnostics are great, but they're not worth the cost of dealing with this absolute nightmare of a physician. I don't think I would trust any of the other physicians that Dr. Courtney hired. If your medical issues are complex and/or you want an active role in your own care, steer clear of this one. This is a physician who feels threatened by patients who advocate for themselves.
Courtney Medical Group is the BEST. I would rather have the providers here take care of than go anywhere else. Sometimes there is a wait, it's well worth it! They spend as much time with you as you need and address all problems you may have. They are thorough. I trust everyone on their team. I love that they work together as a team. Also if you have an emergency they try to get you in the same day.
My family and I have been patients of Dr. Courtney's for over 15 years. She is thorough and attentive. We've received follow-up calls about tests after typical office hours, which we greatly appreciate- our concerns don't operate from 9-5, so it made a huge difference to be able to address those concerns as soon as results were available.
Last year I needed a primary care and Dr. Courtney was accepting new patients. After leaving the east coast and having the same doctor for 20 years I was a bit nervous. I'm so grateful to have found a local physician I trust and that is so compassionate and concerned. Dr. Courtney noticed subtle yet profound changes and has helped me and my health. Thank you Courtney medical group, all of you for caring and for being so knowledgeable! You're all so appreciated!
I love my Nurse Practitioner she transmits the love and passion she has for her work she truly cares about her patients and does not treat it makes them feel like they are just a number there .. the staff is very friendly too the lab lady and X-ray tech are very professional and good at what they do too.. it's so convenient to have everything in house there The office is very clean very nice and fancy decorated always look forward to my appointments...
