Rooms were clean and efficient. The highlight for us was the customer service. When we checked in, Carmen at the front desk was funny and pleasant - a great welcome after a long drive! Morning staff was also very friendly at checkout. Do note, Courtyards don’t seem to offer complimentary breakfasts anymore, but there were plenty of options nearby and a “bistro” at the hotel with some decent healthy breakfast options.
The pool was dirty the spa smelled the bathroom wasn't very clean and there was nobody to serve breakfast when I was here. I had to take my husband for surgery came all the way back to the hotel for breakfast and there was nobody here. The girl at the front desk was very nice that was about the only good thing. Plus the elevators weren't cleaned I used to work at a hotel so I know how things should be.
Truly appreciate the customer service. Flew into town with a lg. Bike box . The owners were kind enough to babysit it while i rode the Erie Canal. Outstanding food- had the Cesar salad twice. Definitely is my home away from home.Rooms: 5/5
Good hotel, TERRIBLE customer service! I booked a room with breakfast which was a paid upgrade. I assumed it was a breakfast buffet as it normally is, but it was by order only. They charged me on my room despite the upgrade. At checkout, i found the extra charge, and they promised me that they will revert the charge. After a few days, to my surprise, I found that the charge was not reverted, so I called them to see what was going on. At first, I was told that I did not have the upgrade, but upon checking further, they agreed that the charge was a mistake and they will take it off. You see where this is going.. No surprises here, I still see the charge on my account. I called them again, this time with utter frustration, and the person on the call tells me that they don't have the autority to refund, and I will have to call back. After raising my voice a little, they checked and told me that the charge in fact was reverted about 9 days ago. So the wait continues. Hopefully some day I will be refunded. But I'd recommend avoiding staying here. There are plenty of other options in this area. UPDATE: I still haven't received the refund. I still stand by every single thing I have mentioned above, which is demonstrably true. To the owner: please don't try to sugarcoat the lapses. I promise I will update this review once/if I get the refund.
After three days in a house with no power and no heat during the worst blizzard we have ever experienced, my husband went out on foot searching for somewhere we could shelter. The Courtyard Marriott was open, and despite being extremely short of staff, had managed to clear their parking lot so they were accessible. My husband says “I have never said this and meant it so literally: their efforts were a life-saver.” We’d like to thank Ayesha, Infonta, and the other staff who kept the hotel up and running during the worst blizzard in forty-plus years for efforts far above and beyond the call of duty. We don't know what we would have done without you.
Very quiet. Great front desk service. I always call for a wake up call from my room to see how fast they pick up. Great service and a free bottle of water! BonVoy member has it's perks! I always stay in room 333...Rooms: 5/5
My stay was enjoyable, it would have been nice to have complimentary breakfast. It is nice that they have the restaurant but it would be more enjoyable if it was open later in the night as well. Upon my arrival my TV didn't work. They switched my room and from that point on everything was smooth sailing. So I can't really say that I had any issues with the hotel. Neither their best to accommodate me to the best of their ability.
The rooms were great and the hotel location was great. But I don’t know when Marriott started using strong air freshening scents in their hotel but it was absolutely disgusting. I am very sensitive to scents I could not use their elevators or go near the lobby and had to hold my breath in the hallways. I just do not get why anybody would do this not everybody likes the same scents even if you’re not sensitive. I have always loved Marriott properties , so I’m hoping they change your policy on this.
The room was extremely clean. The beds were soft and comfortable. The customer service was on point. The breakfast food from the Bistro was great. I also enjoyed some me time in the whirlpool. Ayesha checked my family in. She has awesome customer service.Rooms: 5/5
From the time I parked the car the hotel parking lot and public areas were dirty and had litter on the ground, in corners and on tables. There were signs up saying there was no room service for cleaning available and it showed. The hallways had not appeared to of been vacuumed for a few days. The hot tub was only big enough for two people and the water in the pool was very cold.and not heated. I had a family emergency and was not able to stay the 2nd night. I was told by one desk clerk my night would be refunded. The next day I was told it would not be. I asked for an itemized reciept and have still not received one. Even after contacting the corporate office. If you plan to eat at thier restaurant you better like just a couple of items and expect to pay dearly for them. The only bright spot in this horrible stay was the overnight desk clerk and the women making coffee at 6:15am. They were the nicest and just wonderful. I feel bad that they work for such a poorly run establishment. Even the guest relations person would not respond to my complaints about the filth and being lied to about the refund of my 2nd night. There is no excuse for a Marriott Hotel to be such a dump and so poorly handled.
