I have brought large groups to this hotel several times and the staff here is incredible. They are extremely coordinated and work quickly and efficiently to resolve any issues. Most recently, a student left their white dress shirt on the bed when we checked out. It ended up in the laundry with all the sheets and the staff somehow tracked it down for us so we could get it to the student before our performance. They really go above and beyond and I will continue to recommend them!
Had an event at Grand Wayne Center and fortunately the Marriott is right across the street. We have stayed at this hotel and attended many business events here as well. Always clean and accommodating. The restaurants that have been on location have been top notch. The only thing that we seem to mention during each stay is it would be nice to access the hotel from the parking garage without being in the elements.
Very nice. Hotel bed was ok. A lot better than a Hilton I just stayed at. Music was loud outside during the night, so if your family goes to bed early like mine does , it might be difficult. Music did stop at 11pmit was a Saturday night. They were also hosting a murder mystery event, which looked cool, but was sold out that night. You do have to park in parking garage, which will cost $15 a night. No continental breakfast. I gave 4 stars because website said heated pool. Pool was not heated!!!! It was freezing!!!! I told front desk and she insisted it was heated. But I can tell you, pool water was in the 60s. Other than that it was a nice stay
The best Courtyard Marriott I have ever stayed in. The gentleman at the front desk who checked me in and helped me throughout my stay was PHENOMENAL, never have received such amazing customer service. The room was clean and when I requested additional towels they arrived within 5 minutes. I was in town for a wedding and this hotel was very centrally located near everything. I highly recommend Give the guy at the front desk a raise.
Very very nice place. I don't think I've ever been in a hotel this nice. Definitely better than the Hilton or the Hampton Inn & Suites it's always a plus that you don't have to scan your room key to go up and down in the elevator. Kind of hard to do when you're three and a half sheets to the wind anyway! Rooms: The rooms are just nothing to say about them except for their top notch, or top shelf however you want to say it Nearby activities: Nearby places to visit are the embassy theater. And the Botanical Observatory. There are also some very famous Cathedrals and churches in the direct walking distance from the hotel. Food & drinks: The food that is available at the Marriott is unbelievable. Best food I've had on this entire vacation and it's been a long one.
I came to Fort Wayne to visit my ill mother in the hospital. When calling to extend my visit I was told that I would receive a better rate since she was at Lutheran Health. I then had a new employee, Dakota, extend such kindness and caring for several days in a row! Even sent up a “goodie bag” for my sister and I… knowing we were sitting bedside all day waiting for the inevitable. I cannot tell you how much one person can impact a stay! I’m so grateful!!
My card was charged for incidental fees six times. The manager stated that there was nothing that she could do it better. I would also like to see stated that she would give better training to her employees which this is something that should already have been done before they were allowed to be on the floor to attend to guess. I was not offered any type of compensation from this manager which is very poor service I believe not even complementary breakfast. The manager also advised that I there was nothing she could do as far as the charges on my car and I will just have to wait until the money is refunded.
This was my second time staying at this facility and for the second time they was NO HOT WATER AT ALL AND HAD TO MISS AN IMPORTANT MEETING I HAD . Wasn’t able to shower or do anything due to that and all the manager could do was to tell me that she can give me half of the price back … stay away from this property please!!!Rooms: 1/5
Very friendly staff. Loved the way the breakfast was set up in the morning and those ladies were super nice as well. And it's a great location to boot.Rooms: 5/5
