We were in town staying at the Westin for 3 days, and we chose to head to Cozee Cafe twice rather than trying out a new spot each morning - that's how great it was! The service was lovely, the atmosphere was bright and artsy, with a globally inspired minimalist look, and a menu to match. We loved how many African, middle Eastern, and south Asian inspirations were present on the menu, and the excellent presentation of the tea. The naan wraps and pancakes were among our favorite entrees, though nothing we had wasnt delicious. If also like to mention how attentive and kind the staff was. You could tell management was doing something right because, even without the owner who came by to greet us multiple times! present, they were wonderful. While we were there, a leak in one of the open-air refrigerators was dripping a bit of water on the ground - nothing we would even bat an eye at- and the level of attention and care they paid to make sure we weren't inconvenienced was so thoughtful. Great spot! I'll be back!
First time here and LAST!!!! Had high expectations and was totally disappointed. Poor quality for the price. We came for breakfast and were disgusted by the plate we received. What was supposed to be beef bacon was just a strip of fat; no beef just fat. If you wouldn’t eat it, DON’T serve it!!! Update: You only have one time to make a first impression and this place was a loss for us. We will not be returning.
I came to this place when it first opened up. I introduced my family and friends and those who came out of town to this place. It was fantastic. Yesterday I took my in laws, and we found out there's no more filet mignon eggs Benedict and it doesn't come with English muffins. They changed the menu. Certain things are gone. The seating has changed. Things are a little claustrophobic in there. Everyone's eggs were cooked and not runny. Sad to say the business was doing well but now after 2 years of coming it is going bad. My husband says he'd rather not come back. The Nutella French toast was good tough and the ribeye was cooked good. Sometimes change isn't a good thing.
Came for the hookah. Wasn't bad. Outside seating is nice. Food didn't take long to come out. They have a selection of pastries inside and a coffee/tea menu. Not a place I would come back to for a dinner date but a great place for some quick snacks and drinks.
While the food is always wonderful at Cozee Cafe, the service always sucks... I stopped coming in because of the service. After a year or so, I decided to come back in for breakfast. I walked in and was greeted immediately, there was no one inside and a few ppl outside eating. I informed her I would like to eat outside and she told me someone would be out to help me. I read 2 articles in WSJ before someone asked my drink order. My food order was wrong and then I had to ask for silverware. It literally took 3 minutes for her to bring it back, normally this wouldn't be an issue but there was an empty table 20 feet away, she could had grabbed from.
I am editing my previous 5-star review to a 1-star review. This used to be my favorite coffee shop, and has quickly fallen to a place I would never recommend. I had a bad experience my last visit after receiving watery lattes and un-attentive service. I decided after giving it a few weeks that we would go back and give Cozee a second chance for my birthday. I highly regret this decision. We ordered our food and coffee from a girl with bright red hair receipt said her name was Hannah who was fine at first until two guys walked in. She began to hold a conversation with her friends, pretty much ignoring us as we tried to finish our transaction. We paid at 12:39pm, and went outside to wait. We received our fries about 5 minutes later, and they tasted great. My boyfriend got his dirty chai latte after about 15 minutes of waiting. The girl with the red hair half-heartedly apologized for the wait, saying they only had 1 barista and that my vanilla latte would be out shortly. She then continued to walk off to a car and talk to her friends again. Another group sat and immediately had their order taken by the barista, and received their coffee after a mere 3 minutes. The barista who seemed to be the only one who attempted to give decent customer service came over and politely asked us if we were waiting on anything, and then went check on my drink. I waited a total of 22 minutes received my latte at 1:02 after my boyfriend had already finished his. I took one sip, and realized I again received watery, flavorless, low-quality coffee. As someone who has sent so many followers and friends to Cozee cafe, and someone who called Cozee her favorite coffee shop, you may understand why I am so upset. I am even more upset that this happened on my birthday weekend. I will not be returning to Cozee Cafe, and would rather not receive the same, copy-and-paste response that the GM posts on the multiple negative reviews. I am posting this to the owner, so that you know that you have lost a guest. I hope that you take a look at your employees and put your company first.
Their tea and coffee selection is awesome with nice desserts. Probably they can extend Food Menu beyond 3 PM. The breakfast version is also good
Stopped in to meet with a new friend over coffee, first time here for both of us. It was clean and tidy inside. I had a French press coffee & my friend had a cappuccino. The presentation was very nice. Mine came with the press, a timer for strength desired, and some cream. The coffee was very good. The waitress seemed distracted. That's okay, everyone has an off day. She nonetheless was attentive to service and getting us checked out efficiently enough. It was quiet enough that we were able to talk to, and hear one another, as hoped. Considering all, I will return another time, giving it 4 stars, and would recommend this place.
The staff here is amazing!!! The food is great!! The prices are very reasonable! THE COFFEE IS FROM OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!!Best coffee in Florida!!! They should definitely open more stores to show Starbucks, that they are more than just a name...Cozee Cafe is what coffee should be across the world! Never bitter... never burnt tasted.... always fresh with premium beans freshly ground every cup. If you have never had an "UNDERTOW" try it, you won't be sorry... you'll probably get addicted!!
Came in today with a kind of complicated coffee order, the staff was super helpful and kind. The drink was delicious! Eddie, the manager, introduced himself and chatted with me a bit. He is very interested in making sure the restaurant has high quality products and products the customers want, I appreciate that :- I love that we truly have a local spot nearby and especially love that they serve Lineage coffee. Please support this local business and stop in for a coffee instead of going to Starbucks :-p
